Chapter 83- Not Afraid To Love You

Jackson got annoyed. "Fine. I'll leave instead." He was about to turn but Mark stopped him.

"Wait..." then he looked to Lina. "I think it's time you told him about it." He said to her.

"What do you mean?" Jackson looked between the two puzzled.

Lina kept her back to the two boys.

"W-What about the others? They'll be waiting on me. I have to get back inside. I've.. just ruined everything!" She said through sobs.

"No Lina. I can go back and talk to them. They'll be understanding. You should know us by now. They're probably more worried about you than anything. I'll go get you a glass of water too." Mark told then he whispered in Jacksons ear.
"Go easy on her. And don't push for answers. Give her some time to settle down and then she'll tell you."

He headed back inside.

Lina took in a deep breath and shakily let out a breath out.

"Can you.. t-take me away...from here? Somewhere.. q-quiet."

"Of course!" Jackson moved forwards and placed his hands on her shoulders. "But we'll have to go in my car. Will that be okay?"

Lina nodded, keeping her head hanging low.

Jackson slowly walked out through the gates of Linas house, guiding her to his car. He strapped the seat belt on her then got into the drivers side himself.

As he drove, he kept taking glances over at Lina to see if she was okay.

"Mind if I put on a soft melody song?" He asked her.

Lina gave a small shook of her head as she sniffled and wiped her tears.

Jackson shuffled through his music until he got to the one he wanted

As the song was coming to an end Lina asked for it to be played again.

Jackson played it for another 3 times before they arrived at the destination.
At this point Lina had calmed down and her crying had stopped.

"Wait here." He told her, getting out and then going around to open her door, unbuckle her seatbelt and held her hand as she stood up out the car.

Lina then looked at the view in front of her. Jackson had brought her to a beach.

She looked to him and just silently gave him a small smile.

They both walked down the sandy beach and found a spot to sit down. Thankfully no one was around.

The soft breeze blew some strand of Lina'a hair in her face, but that didn't bother her, since her eyes were closed shut and she breathed in the fresh air.

Jackson watched her for a moment before he reached out and took her hand that was resting on her knee.

Lina opened her eyes and looked to their hands as Jackson slipped his fingers through hers.

"Angel, I'm not going anywhere. I'm sitting right here. Tell me... what's bothering you?"

Lina looked to him. They held eye contact. She let out a deep breath and looked back down at their hands again. She held his hand a little tighter.
