Chapter 55- Saying Goodbye

Jackson parked his car, in the airport car park.

"Lina, could you look in the glove box to see if there's a spare face mask?" Jackson asked, cutting off the engine and taking the keys out.

Lina opened up the compartment infront of her and pulled out a face mask, as well as a cap.

"Wouldn't it be better for you to stay in the car whilst I say my goodbyes to them? This is just too much of a hassle." Lina told as she watched Jackson put the cap and mask on.

"Nope. I'm going to go in there with you. I want to meet your Mum and Dad too. I mean, I know your Mum liked me ever since that first time, however the last time I saw your dad was in the hospital. He didn't seem very fond of me, so I want to change that. Especially if things are going to change around here." He told her as he opened up the door and stepped out the car.

"What do you mean? What exactly are you going to tell my parents?" Lina panicked a bit, feeling her cheeks go hot.

"Wait there, let me come around." He closed his door.

Lina didnt listen and opened up the door herself and jumped out. "Jackson-"

"Didn't I tell you to wait?" Jackson cut her off and closed her door behind her as his free hand took hers and he held it.

Lina looked down at their hands for a moment, then looked up at Jackson. "Won't this draw attention?" She bought their hands up to show him. "What happened to the speech you gave during the drive here, about being careful and keeping it on the low?"

"I don't know. I just wanted to hold your hand for a moment." Jackson blushed, giving her hand a gentle squeeze. "Okay, there." He let go of her hand. "Let's go." He walked off.

Lina giggled, seeing he was still in his squirtle slippers. "Pabo" and she followed after him. "Wait for me."

Jackson led her to the terminal where the others were waiting and they soon spotted SooAh and Yugyeom talking.

Then Lina's eyes moved to Youngjae who was stood beside Jaebum who was speaking to her parents and beside him was Jinyoung and Bambam. Bambam was looking around as if he was trying to find someone. Then beside Bambam, Lina saw Mark. He was looking right at her.

She felt her walk slow down, as she moved to walk behind Jackson. Her head dropped.

"Jackson Hyung! Where is Lina Noona?" She heard Bambam's voice and his quick footsteps as he ran over.
"What do you mean? She's right here." Jackson told confused and looked to his side to see Lina wasn't there and then he stepped aside and looked behind him. "Yah! What are you doing behind me?"

"Noona!" Bambam pulled Lina into a tight hug. He had to bend down slightly to get to her. "I'm so glad you're not leaving! SooAh said you decided to stay behind. I'm sorry I told the others when you said I shouldn't but.."

Lina's eyes wondered over to Mark who was now walking over to them.

"They wouldn't let me go until I told them what was up." Bambam finished and pulled away to look at Lina.

Lina looked to Bambam and nodded her head no. "It's okay."

"Seems like you beat me to it then." Mark spoke.

"I guess so." Jackson nodded.

Mark looked to Lina then. "So... you decided to stay?"

Lina nodded her head. "Hmm" she felt awkward.

"Angie. Can we talk?" Mark asked.

"Not now Hyung. Her parents are waiting. Lina needs to say her goodbyes." Jackson told.
