~Kate's P.O.V~
A few minutes passed by before Niall reached over and twisted a small knob filling the car with music. Good Girl by 5 Seconds of Summer started to play through the small car making me smile. I looked out the window for a minute before hearing humming in the background. I quickly snapped my head to look over at Niall who was clearly singing along to the song. I started laughing which caused him to look over at me.
"What?" He chuckled while stopping at a red light.
"Nothing" I choked out between laughs.
"Whats so funny?" He asked.
"Your a very good singer Niall" I said trying my hardest to stop laughing.
"Oh why thank you" He said while sending me a giant cheesy smile which made me start to laugh again. He chuckled then faced the road again as the green light popped up. It took me minute to calm back down and I turned to face out the window. I felt his hand place its self on my lower thigh which made me smile and interlock our hands together. As soon as I did this Niall started full out singing the chorus of the song.
"She said to me forget what you thought! Cause good girls are bad girls who haven't been caught" He sang.
"Oh my god Niall Stop!" I laughed.
"I thought you said you like my singing?" Niall replied his focus still on the road.
"Ya, have you ever heard of a thing called sarcasm?!" I laughed.
"Oh shush, I'm a good singer and you know it!" He said proudly fighting the grip on my hand.
"Ehhhh I've heard better" I shakily said sending him a smile. Niall just shook his head in disapproval and continued to drive. It was dead silent for a few minutes so I decided to say something.
"So, how much longer till I meet your so called 'friends'" I asked.
"You will get to meet the people I call friends in about 5 minutes" He chuckled taking his hand out of mine and placing it back in the steering wheel.
"Can I get some quick background info about them?" I asked in a high voice. He looked over at me then chuckled.
"I think the only people there are Harry, Louis, Liam, and probably Liam's girlfriend Olivia" He said as he turned into a big apartment parking lot. Olivia. That name sent a quick shiver through my body as I tried not to think about that her and what happened senior year. I mean there's a 10% chance that the same Olivia Dawson that went to High School with me lives in New York and is Nialls friend's girlfriend. Right?
"Kate, is everything ok?" Niall asked pulling me out of my little daydream.
"Oh uh ya, everything's fine" I said as I sent him a reassuring smile as he parked the car. I reached over and opened the passenger door shaking my head if the crazy thoughts and climbed out of the car. I suddenly found Niall re-glued to my side as we walked towards the large apartment building. I felt his hand grab mine and pull it towards one of the doors.
"Here it is, you ready to meet the crazy people I call friends?" He chuckled as he slightly tightens his grip on my hand as if I would pull away or something.
"Yup" I excitedly said as he turned to open the door. He quickly walked in, pulling me close behind him.
"Hey Niall! You made it!" I heard a guy say as I turned around to close the door. Once the door was shut I turned around and saw two guys, one with brown curly hair and another with messy light brown hair, sitting together on a big corner couch. After looking at them for a second i realized that their hands were intertwined together inbetween them.
Those must be the two that Niall thinks are gay. I smiled at my thought and appearently Niall noticed because gripped my hand tighter.
''Oh guys this is Kate, my girfriend" Niall said as he pulled me over to a small couch near the two guys.
"So your the girl that spilt that coffee on poor Niall" The curly haired guy said.
"Yup thats me" I nervously chuckled.
"Cool, oh I'm Louis and thats Harry" The guy with perfect green eyes said as he motioned over to curly.
"Hi and like Niall said Im Kate" I laughed.
"Wait Lou, where's Liam?" Niall asked as he slipped him arm around my shoulder.
"He should be here soon, he said he was picking Liv up after work and she got out 5 minutes ago so they should be here any minute now." Louis replied.
My heart started racing at the thought of Olivia Dawson being in the same room as me.
"Are you alright Kate?" Niall asked with a concerned expression on his cute little face.
"Yeah I'm fine" I say with a genuine smile on my face.
"Ok good because I think I hear Liam coming!" He exclaims. Within seconds Liam comes in laughing with a brown haired girl also laughing with her head down so I couldn't see her face.
"Hey Liam!" Louis exclaimed running to him and jumping onto him while petting his hair and singing "He is mine back off Olivia. lalalalala" laughing again Olivia smiled and shook her head. I finally got a good look at her face and froze. It was Olivia freaking Dawson.
Turning around and looking at Curl-Harry's jealous expression I chuckled to myself remembering Niall's assumption about Louis and Harry.
"Hey hey I think that's enough." Harry's deep voice cut off the laughing and screeching from Liam.
"Ohhhh somebody's in troubleeee!!" Niall exclaims with a smug smile on his face.
"N-no he's not. Pshhh no! W-why would he be in trouble?" Harry rambled his cheeks turning a light shade of pink.
"Anyway! Kate still hasn't met Olivia." Louis says as he walked over to Harry and sat down. Once he thought no one was looking he grabbed one of Harry's hands and whispered something in his ear which made Harry smile and blush an even deeper shade of red.
"Oh yeah! Kate this is Olivia, Olivia this is Kate." Niall says motioning to each of us.
"Oh. I think we know each other." A familiar voice snarled.
Hey guys..... So I am officially the worst author on wattpad. I would say that I have been really busy but that would be a lie. I have had a really bad case of writers block which has made updating this chapter REALLY HARD. I already have the next chapter planned so I promise it won't take as long to publish. As you can tell there is going to be some drama😏 Anyways thank you guys for being the best readers and putting up with my really long update schedule.
