Chapter 25

~Kate's P.O.V~

I lay there on my bed staring at the ceiling. I know I shouldn't be stressing as much as I am about last night but that's just the way I am. My conscious is basically yelling at me and I don't know what to. I grabbed my pillow and shoved it on my face. I groaned the turned onto my stomach. I glanced at my alarm clock which read 12:33pm. Thank god I didn't have classes today. I sighed and shoved my face back in the pillow.

Ugh Kate you did nothing wrong, stop beating yourself up!

Yes I did I cheated on Niall

You only kissed Connor, once

Exactly!

He said it meant nothing and that you two were only friends, it was a small slip up, Its not like he did it on purpose

What if he did though....

He didn't, he said that it was just in the moment

I felt a shiver rush down my spine at the thought of him saying that again. I know I love Niall and that's a fact, but I don't know if kissing Connor brought out my feelings for him more or what because hearing him say that made me feel weird. I shook my head slightly and went back to fighting with my self conscience.

Ok look, maybe you just need to get off your lazy ass and go see Niall today maybe that will help

Maybe seeing Niall and hanging out with him will make you realize that your feelings for Connor were just a one time thing

Well maybe, I feel like I would act really weird around him though because of what happened last night

I groaned and sat up on the corner of my bed. I ran my hand through my messy blonde waves and grabbed my phone off my bed side table. I brought up Niall's name and then started to type.

To: Niall

Hey, I was wondering if you weren't busy today and wanted to hang out

I pushed send and placed my phone next to me on my bed. I stood up and walked over to my desk grabbing my laptop off of some random papers. I plopped back down on my bed opened it up, opening my writing essay. I started to type and then heard my phone buzz. I picked up the iPhone and opened the new message from Niall.

From: Niall

Ya sure, wanna meet at Starbucks around 1?

To: Niall

Sure, see you then:)

I continued to add to my essay for a few more minutes then shut my laptop and climbed off my bed. I looked at the clock and decided to take a short shower. I quickly grabbed my toiletry bag out of my closet and a light blue towel and headed towards the bathrooms.

After finishing my shower I made my way back to my dorm. The bathrooms were only a few doors down from my dorm so I didn't have far to walk. I searched my pocket for my keys then entered my room. I threw the damp towel into my hamper then went to my closet to find something to wear. After putting on a pair of black leggings and a light pink sweater, I combed through my hair and grabbed my keds from under my bed. I glanced at the small alarm clock then grabbed my phone off the bed and shoved it in my butt pocket. I then walked out of the room locking the door behind me. Once I got into the lobby I checked my phone and saw that it read 1:10pm.

"Really" I breathed and quickly texted Niall apologizing for being late. I slid the phone back into my pocket then walked out of the lobby. A cold gust of wind blew at me as I walked down the sidewalk sending chills throughout my body. This is really weird weather for the middle of April. I pulled at the ends on my sweater and continue to walk towards the coffee shop. Soon enough, I was standing outside the Starbucks doorsq. I pushed the door open and the familiar smell of coffee hit me. I looked around and saw my blonde headed Irish guy sitting at a table along the windows.

"So it's great to see you finally showed up!" Niall chuckled setting his phone on the small table.

"I'm so sorry Niall, I guess my shower took longer then expected" I nervously said as I sat down at the table.

"It's ok, You smell nice after you shower" He said before taking a sip of his coffee.

"Thank you?" I laughed.

"Your welcome" He replied placing his coffee on the table.

"So what do you want to do?" I asked grabbing his warm coffee and taking a sip.

He chuckled at me the replied," Um I don't really know, it's pretty chilly out today so I think going to the park is out of the question"

"Ya, why is it so cold today?" I asked rubbing my hands down my thighs.

"I don't know the answer to that Kate" He chucked running his hand through his blonde hair.

"Well your no help to me then" I huffed turning away from him and pulling out my phone.

"Hey hey, Wait I have an idea lets go" He said grabbing my hand and gently pulling me out of my seat. I just giggled and followed him out of the shop.

"Where are we going Niall?" I asked as we both climbed into his car.

"We are going to go meet some of my friends" He said as he pulled out onto the road.

"Wait what?" I asked.

"We, as in me and you, are going to go meet some of my friends" Niall replied.

"Oh ok" I said running my hand through my hair a little bit nervous about meeting Niall's friends.

"Hey, don't worry they will love you, and if it makes you feel any better I am 90% positive that two if them are gay" He laughed as he playfully rubbed my shoulder.

Heeeeeyyyyyy! It feels like for ever since I last updated and I am really sorry for that. With school ending and everything I kinda had to put wattpad and this story on hold. But since school is out now (SUMMER VACATION WHOOP WHOOP!!!) I defiantly will be updating more frequently! On another note I felt like the 1D boys haven't been in my story in FOREVER so you should expect Harry, Louis, and Liam in the next chapter. Ok well that's all for now my lovelies:)
