~Kate's P.O.V~
"Ok thank you for tonight, I had a lot of fun" I said as I got out of the car. Niall also got out and followed me to the entrance of NYU.
"No problem, I had fun too" he smiled.
After quickly exchanging phone numbers we waved good bye and I scooted inside the school. The lobby was completely empty besides a few people here and there. I found my way to my dorm and grabbed the key out of my pocket opening the door. Once inside, I ran over and threw myself on the bed. Having a single dorm has it's advantages and disadvantages but right now I really needed someone to vent to. I grabbed my phone out butt pocket and dialed Audrey's number.
"Hello?" Audrey's voices filled the phone.
"Hey, I just got home from my- well- my date" I giggled into the phone "were you sleeping?"
"Um ya, it's 10:30 sweetie" she laughed.
"Oh, I'm sorry" I said as I glanced at my alarm clock which read 10:30pm. I left at 5:00 to go to the movies. I never realized how long we were at the field till now.
"It's ok, now spill, what happened? and make sure to add every detail!" Audrey replied.

"It sounds like he knew the movie was going to be sold out" she said into the phone.
"Ya, but he had this plan B thing, so he took me to this field that had the most beautiful view of sunset over the mountains" I told Audrey as I sat up on my bed remembering the date I just got home from.
"In New York?" she asked.
"Ya I think he said it was in Roslyn" I replied as I put the phone on speaker and got up to grab my pj's.
"Oh I've been there before, beautiful town" she answered.
"Exactly, but then we played 20 questions and I learned that his name is Niall Horan, he lives in Roslyn New York with his Mom, Dad, Brother Greg, and Sister Maddy, and that he is 21" I yell at the phone.
"Oooooh going for the older men now" she chuckled into the phone.
"Shut up, in 9 days he will only be a year older then me so ha" I said as I threw on some flannel pj pants and a NYU sweat shirt.
"Ya but then on question 10 he asked if I was single, and I said yes, and he said yes, and I put my head on his shoulder and he pulled 'I'm yawning but I'm actually putting my arm around you' thing, and I secretly really wanted to kiss him but I was like hold up this is the first date and I'm not even sure if its even a date! and it felt like we sat watching the stars for at least an hour in that position and I'm so freaking confused!" I ramble into the phone putting my face in my free hand.
"Wow, slow down, wait he kissed you?" she curiously asked into the phone.
"No, well I kinda wished he did, but was that even considered a date?" I asked Audrey as I laid down on my bed starring at the ceiling.
"I would think so" she replied.
"Ok well I got his number" I said smiling.
"Go Kate!" she yelled into the phone.
"Oh why thank you, now I might actually see him more than little accidents here and there" I replied.
"Ah yes, speaking of that are you working tomorrow?" she asked.
"How does that have any relation to seeing Niall?" I laughed into the phone.
"I don't know, but answer my question please!" she said.
"Um I think so, wait what day is it tomorrow...." I trailed off.
"Wednesday, tomorrow is a Wednesday Kate" she said into the phone obviously disappointed.
"Psssshhh I so knew that and yes I am working tomorrow why?" I asked.
"Oh I have a dentist appointment so I will be late and I was wondering if you could tell Max?" She answered.
"Audrey what are you hiding" I asked sarcastically.
"Nothing I actually have a dentist appointment this time, way to judge me I thought we were better friends then that" she fake cried into the phone.
"I'm sorry bebe" I laughed "and ya sure ill tell Max"
"Thanks i think it will only be like 20-30 minutes late" She said.
"Oh ya just 20-30 minutes late..." I giggled.
"Well that wasn't nice, I'm going to go to bed Kate, it's 11:45" she replied.
"Oh, ya that's a good idea, good night Audrey, love you!" I said.
"Love you toooooo! bye" she said as the line went dead.
I put my phone on the little table near my bed and crawled under the covers.
I reached up and tugged the little string thing turning my lamp off making the room completely dark. I starred at the ceiling for a few minutes thinking about Niall again. He looked absolutely stunning on our little date earlier today. His blonde hair messy on the top of his head and his green long sleeve shirt with his black leather jacket looked so hot. I giggled at the thought. I still remember calling him a leprechaun on the way home, minus the fact that he is at least 5'8.
I turned onto my side and attempted to fall asleep. After a few minutes of tossing and turning a finally drifted away.
