~NightMare~

SAM
(In dream)
I sit in a chair on a rooftop with colby next to me crying. I ball my eyes out as the kidnapper comes back into the room and shoots over my head. "NO PLEASE HES EVERYTHING I HAVE!" I say, he shoots the gun at colby, he falls to the ground, I cry harder as my best friend dies.
(Out of dream)
I wake up crying and screaming, "COLBY!" I scream, no reply, I sob and scream. I run into Colby's room and cry. "Colby I had a nightmare!" I yell through tears streaming down my face, colby gets up and hugs me, I sob into his shoulder. "What was it about?" He asks, I try to catch enough of my breath to speak. "The prank, you died colby, I wanna sleep with you." I say. "Ok, stay in here then, it's ok I'm right here, I love you I'm not going anywhere." He says patting my back. We release our hug, I cry harder. "Sam calm down I'm right here I'm alive." He says, I don't calm down, I couldn't stop crying. "I can't colby, it felt so real, and——-you didn't come back." I say, colby grabs my hands and looks down at the bed, a tear falls off of his face. "I'm sorry sam, I thought I knew your limits, I guess I don't." Colby says, I take deep breaths and eventually gain back my breath and I wipe the tears of my face, I sniffle. "It's not my limit, but that nightmare was—it felt so real that I woke up screaming and crying." I say, colby lays his face on my shoulder and I play with his hair. We sit on the bed with bloodshot eyes, messy hair, and tired faces. "I'm scared to go back to sleep." I say, colby wraps his arms around my waist and knocks us over onto the pillows. "Just sleep, I'm right here, attached to your side, and I'm not going anywhere." He mumbles, I wrap my arms around him. "Ok......good night." I say, colby nuzzles his head deeper into my side. "Night.........love you." Colby says. "Awwww, love you too." I say, we then fall asleep attached to each other's hip.
