Faraway

That person I truly admired,
Has now gone so far
That person I loved right,
Has left me with a scar

That person I deeply loved,
Is now loving someone else
He's now calling her "beloved",
and I've never loved him less

I think we've missed each other

I keep on thinking of how far you are,

That person who had an influence on me,
Is now showing the worst side of him

The good in him is starting to dim

That person I wanted to become like,
Is now becoming a bad example
That person I'd never dislike,
Has just stopped being humble

I focus on how beautiful you seem
I focus on how your eyes gleam
I see you facing every extreme

Whenever I get to think of you,
Should I just believe it's true,
That you've changed that much?

I look at the sky, thinking what you are doing

I keep waiting for you, but you aren't moving

But still, I have those high hopes,

And now I look at the sky again,
Never seeing stars and it's getting black
