I Look at the Stars

                                              I look at the stars
And I feel fearful
Are they as real
As I see them?
I look at them
Tell them my story
They respond to me
By shining brightly
They give me a 
Glimpse of hope
When I know I can't 
Fight anymore
Why weren't I a star?
I'd shine for people so far
I'd guide them
Burn for them
Shine for them
And they'd admire me back
But when I fight for them
They let go of me
As if they don't see
What I've done to them
I look at the stars
Then I ask myself
Do I really
Need any help?
