The four of them ended the day with a little bit of bickering and harmless fighting, while mowgli was still upset because of the Khamba that came into his life. All of then left the orphanage. Neil went to drop Avni home. When they reached all the lights of the house were closed. They realized that no one was back yet. Neil got a call about something important but denied it as staying with Avni was more important right now.

A: Neil tum jao na main yaha khud ruk jao gi. Waise bhi maa aati hi hogi. Tumhara important call hai na. (Neil you can go I will be fine here. Besides you got an important call na)

N: nahi Avni main nahi jaoga jab tak koi aa nahi jata. Dekho na kinti raat ho chuki hai. (No Avni I won't go until someone comes. See how late it is.)

A: Neil main theek hu aur waise bhi main ghar ke under hu bahar nahi tum jao na pls. (Neil I will be fine besides I will be inside not outside.)

N: nahi!! (No!!!) Neil said sternly

A: Neil..

N: No way

A: Neil why are you behaving like I am a baby. Avni said crossing her arms and pouting in anger.

N: but you are my baby Avni aur main tumhe chor kar nahi jao ga. (Avni I won't leave you and go.) Neil said pulling her closer by her waist.

N: Neil mujhe kuch nahi hoga, dekho watchman hai, tumhe security bhi lagai hai, aur muma bhi aati hi hogi tum jao na pls... mere liye. (Neil nothing will happen to me, look the watchman is here, you even security and mom will also come soon so pls go Neil. For me.)

N: tum pakka upna dehaan rakho gi?? (You will take care of yourself??) Avni nodded like a kid.

A: Promise. ab jao. (Now go.) Avni said pushing Neil outside.

She saw him leaving from the window. Avni decided to take a shower so she went upstairs. After 10 mins she came out. She was drying her hair when she saw something moving outside the window. Avni went to the window to see what was moving. She saw the bushes moving.

A: hmm must be an animal. Avni continued drying her hair when the lights went out.

A: yeh lights ko kya ho gaya hai. (What happened to the lights?) She called the watchman to check the power box. Now she was getting scared as it was dark. Avni thought to call Neil but couldn't find her phone in the darkness.

A: mera phone kaha hai. (Where is my phone??) She started searching for it when she saw a shadow near the door. Her throat felt dry.

A: ka...kaun hai w..waha?? (W...who is there??) Avni stammered. Something fell behind her. She turned around but it was nothing, she looked back towards the door but the shadow was gone. Just then she felt a breath on her neck which was sending shivers down her spine.

Person: Avni! The person said in a low and creepy tone. She quickly moved back. The person started walking towards her as she was moving back when her back hit the wall.

A: ka..kaun ho tum aur kya chahte ho. (Who are you and what do you want??)

P: tume chahta hu. (I want you.) He trying to touch Avni but she pushed him and hid beside her dresser. She found her phone there. She dialed Neil's number but it was not reaching him.

P: kaha chupke jao gi wapas toh tumhe mere paas hi ana parega. Come on come out. Tumhe pata hai main hide and seek maiin kanhi nahi harta. (Where will you go, you will have to come back to me only. You know no one can defeat me in hide and seek.) Just then the lights came on. Avni quickly ran out her room, running outside the house when she bumped into someone. It was Neela.
