WHAT THE HELL IS NATSU DOING?!

HE'S ON ONE KNEE AND HAS ONE HAND IN HIS POCKET AND THE OTHER IS HOLDING MINE.

"N-Natsu?" I stutter.

"Lucy, we've been best friends since we were born basically. And I haven't been with you much since Lisanna and I have started dating."

Right...

Lisanna...

"So," he continues, "I want to propose to you."

I blink many times in confusion.

This makes no sense?

"Lucy," he takes out a small box.

I tense at the sight.

This isn't right...

I open my mouth, "Na-"

"Will you accept this promise ring?" He asks.

"Eh?"

I look down at two beautiful golden rings. He slowly lowers my hand and then places one of the rings on my right ring finger. I bring it up to my face. There's something embedded.

~Natsu.D~

I tear up and he stands up. He holds the box with the other ring and-

~Lucy.H~

I tear up even more, "Natsu..."

He smiles down at me, "This promise ring shows our strong bond. It's a promise to always be here and take care of each other till we get old."

I was crying and smiling up at him.

"Arigato...Natsu..."

He hugs me and I hug back.

Why couldn't you have been mine...

Don't worry Natsu, on Monday, it'll be like nothing happened...

"Let's get you home," he says.

I nod and we begin walking. We talked more and more and it felt...nice.

I missed our talks

Our bond

Our time together

Being one

I'll miss this feeling.

I look up at the sky with widened eyes. I raise my hand up in the air and point. Natsu looks up.

"A shooting star..." I say, "isn't it beautiful!"

"Very," he says.

I look at him with a bright smile, "Don't you just love the stars! So bright and beautiful!"

Natsu grabs my hand and lifts it to his lips. He kisses it.

"Just like my Princess."

I blush and stare at the boy I love.

What's...happening...

He smiles brightly at me and I give a slight gasp.

"W-What's with t-the sudden..."

"Lucy, do you like Gray?"

"Eh..."

He stares as I slowly turn red.

"W-WHAT! O-O-OF C-COURSE NOT! W-WHY WOULD YOU ASSUME T-THAT!?"

I was a flustered mess and now stuttering to myself.
