Record Player

We drove for a while, but to me it felt like five minutes. Keaton was so wonderfully distracting, I didn't even know that the time had flown by so fast. We had finally arrived at the restaurant, and when he said causal I had a feeling he would pick this place. In N Out.

"Is this ok?" Keaton asked a bit nervous.

"Of course! I would have probably picked this place myself." I said, and it was the truth. We got off and Keaton grabbed my hand. We walked hand and hand to the doors of the burger joint and Keaton then opened the door for me. I hope he couldn't tell how crazy I was blushing, we weren't dating, we weren't friends with benefits, so this couple action was quite weird for me. I ignored it though and just enjoyed my meal Keaton and I began to have tons of fun. We talked forever, we had finish our food and had just sat there and talked. I loved talking to Keaton, he was just amazing. I couldn't take my eyes off if him. After talking forever, it was 9:00pm and Keaton suggested we go to an a antique story that's open 24/7, that is was really cool. I suddenly got so excited I grabbed his hand and we ran to the car.

" I figured u would like that idea." Keats said.

I just smiled and nodded.

We arrived at the shop and I was so cool. Just like Keats said. There was type writers, record players, lamps, and furniture. I was drawn right away the record players, I was so fascinated.

"I have always wanted a record player." I have always just wanted to get the vintage feel of listening to records.

"They seem really cool, I actually really like the look of them." Keats said.

"My grandpa had one, it was so cool.... I always listened to it with him. But when he died they threw it out. My dad wouldn't let me keep it."

Keaton looked down

"Oh, well I'm sorry, I know how you feel my grandpa, I'm died too, we were really close."

There was silence, I then turned to Keaton, I hugged him. I the rested my head on his shoulder, there was a tear coming down my face. Keaton came closer, and hugged me tighter. We stood there infront of the record player.

Keaton then let go and whipped the tears from my eyes.

"Let's go..."

I got in the car and we drove home in silence. I was still tearing a bit but it slowly began to stop.

We got home and the walked inside, I started walking to my room, when keaton stopped me.

"Put on your pjs and I'll put on mine. Let's get those lights up."

Keaton always brought a smile to my face.

I just threw on a tank top and my plaid pj bottoms. I then brushed my teeth and put my hair up in a mess bun.

Keaton then came in,

"Let's get started"

We got the all the lights out of the boxes and made sure they worked, which they all did. Then we got the ceiling clothes and railings and spread them on the floor.

Keaton then got the screw driver and put up the rails. I then hung up the ceiling curtains.

Keaton turned off the lights and then turned on the decor lights.

"this is about to get magical" keaton said with a smirk.

I started laughing so hard.

"NO NO I DIDNT MEAN IT THAT WAY!" Keaton said.

I couldn't stop laughing, "don't worry I know what you, meant."

"Haha ok good." Keats laughed.

We both to together started putting up the lights. Keats started on one side and I started on the other. I didn't realize how tangled we were getting into the lights. I guess Keaton pulled the light higher, which since we were tangled, pulled me face to face with him. We stared into each other eyes, and I was just in awe. We stared at each other and slowly grew closer and closer. I then back away with a laugh/sigh.

Keaton gave an awkward laugh.

"We should get untangled and then finished."

"Oh yea.. Hehe." I replied awkwardly. So we did just that and finished putting up the lights in some what of a silence. We then finished and just looked at it.

"You know what this needs?" Keaton said.

"What?"

"Ice Cream." Keaton said then he ran to the kitchen to get some ice cream. I sat on my bed and looked at the ceiling, it was like I was in a room filled with stars. I loved it.
