"Hello Miss Troye?"

I woke up the next morning early and went for a little ride. I was honestly a bit nervous for the results. I didn't know what I had. They were going to call me directly to tell me what was wrong because my mom was in Peru for a month for a charity organization. I talked to my mom yesterday, and she told me not to worry, it was nothing. After my ride I came home and made breakfast for myself. I sat in the living room and watched cartoons. It was 8:00am, wesley had woken up Andy made a shake for himself and plopped next to me.

"Morning lil Lilly!" Wes said.

"You never called me that before." I said laughing.

"I don't know I just like giving nicknames to people, whatcha watching." Wes asked

"Adventure Time!" I said proudly

"This show is very creepy for a cartoon, but I think it's cool." Wes said.

I just chuckled and we both continued to watch. Tyler and Keaton woke up 9:00am and made themselves breakfast as well, after they ate they watched cartoons with me and Wes as well.

Keaton laid his head on my lap, and his feet on Wesley's lap. We sat there just watching cartoons until about 10:00am, that's when I got a phone call. I jumped off the couch fast.

"Ouch!" Keaton said

"It's the doctor." I said running to my room and answered the phone.

"Hello?" I said

"Hello Miss Troye?"

"This is her, yes."

"So we have your results, it doesn't make me happy to say this, Lilly you have stage 2 kidney cancer."

My heart dropped I felt out of breath I couldn't handle what was just said. I didn't want to believe it.

" hello? Lilly are you still there?"

"Yes, um are you sure this is right information? I mean this can't be, I just what??" I hesitated

"I very sorry Miss, we want to start treatment in 2 weeks."

"Ok um thankyou, goodbye."

"Goodbye."

I hung up the phone and sat there trying to soak in. I have cancer...

I have fucking cancer.

I whispered to myself

"Why me, why fucking me, fuck my life, I could die oh my fucking gosh!" I wasn't as strong as I thought I was and in that moment there was one thing I wanted, to just be told I was ok.

My mom called and we talked for an hour, it was around 11:30 when we hung up the phone. I convinced her to stay and help in Peru. I told her I would be fine.

I came out of the room were the boys stared at me. That's when it hit me. I wanted to just break down and cry. But then I thought Keaton doesn't need to know this, what of he did something crazy and stopped tour. So for now, I needed to keep this a secret.

"What did they say?" Tyler asked

"Ummm everything is fine... Just fine." I said

"Oh that's a relief.." Keaton said

"Oh that reminds me I need to give you something, come follow me.." Wesley said prancing.

I couldn't even chuckle, I felt like I went from being happy to stage 100 depression. At this point nothing could make me happy.

I followed wesley into his room, he then closed the door.

"Talk.... Tell me what's really wrong." Wes said

"W w what do you meann." I said, my voice shaky.

"Lilly tell me what the doctor really said."

That's when I broke into tears, the pain was so really I just couldn't bare!

Wesley came and put his arm around my shoulder. "What's wrong." He asked again.

"I have stage 2 kidney cancer...." I said trying to control my tears.

"Oh my god..." Wes said, he got up and paced back and forth trying to get what I just said, then he held me, I snuggled into him tight.

"I'm so sorry..." He whispered shaky.

"Whatever you do, don't tell Keaton that I have cancer, he doesn't need to know and then go do something crazy." I said still crying

"Your secret is safe with me..." Wes said. We sat there for a minute then Wes got up and wiped his eyes, I didn't realize he was crying, he then walked over to me and wiped my eyes.

"We can get throught this, because Lilly you are one of the strongest girls I have ever met." Wes whispered. He then hugged me and we walked back to the living room.

"You guys took for ever...." Tyler said

"I was giving her some records I thought she would like."

"Yea, and he went on forever talking about them." I joined in.

"Ohhhhh, I see" Tyler said

"Ughhhhh What are we going to do today?" Keaton asked

"Well I have to go to the mall to figure out what to get lil LILLY here for her birthday tomorrow."

"You don't have to get me anything Wes!" I said trying to convince him not to get me anything.

"I always get my sisters presents for their birthdays." Wes said smiling.

I just smiled back, the pain was still there, but a smile is what I needed.

"Im going with you!" Keaton said. They both got ready and in 15 mins they left.

It was just me and Tyler chilling on the couch, I just tweet a bunch of depressing things and Tyler apparently noticed.

"Ok Lilly tell me what's up? What the doctor really say." Tyler asked.

I then told him everything I told Wes and made it clear not to tell anyone including Keaton. He held me the way wesley did, but he didn't cry. All thought It looked like he was going to. I on the other hand was balling.

Later that day..... The boys had came back home Wesley ran to his room to wrap my present, Keaton went to his room, but I don't know why. The whole day was just a blur. I wasn't hungry. Keaton tried to make me eat but I told him I wasn't hungry.

"You know if you never eat, you will never grow." Keaton said

"I don't need to grow...." I said

"What's wrong?" He asked

"Nothing just feeling a bit sick." I said

"Oh, sorry... I'll just lay with you will that make it better." He laughed

"Thank you." I faked laugh.

He turned off the light, and turned on my firefly lights. And he held my hand, as we watched the ceiling, I could help but think,

I'm going to die.
