Looking Ahead

We went home and drank hot chocolate. The house was silent, just Tyler and I listening to music.

"So what are we doing today?" Tyler asked.

"Hum?" I asked, I wasn't paying any attention.

"What are we doing today?"

"I need to go to the mall and pick up some beanies from White Tee and some beanies from pacsun. Tomorrow all my hair comes off." I said looking down at my hands wrapped around the mug of hot chocolate.

Tyler lifted my chin up. "Lilly, since day 1 of our friendship, you have always been on to manage to put a smile on your face, you are still a human, still. a normal girl, you just have cancer, but it doesn't change your personality. I'll be there, Wes will be there, Laraine, Keats when you tell him. We are all there for you, you will win this battle, I promise."

I gave Tyler a hug "I love ya bro." I said softly.

"I love you too Sis." Ty said.

We let go of the hug and Tyler continued the conversation.

"Well now what are we waiting for I know it's early but the mall opens in 2 hours, so let's get ready and I'll drive ya to the mall." Tyler said.

I gave him a big smile and ran to the bathroom to take a shower. I took a quick one and got out and put on my contacts and brushed my teeth again. I then brushed out my hair and applied moose so my hair would be natural. I walked to my room wrapped in my robe and looked through my closet for something to wear. I decide to wear my skinny jeans with some converse and I wore my favorite brandy melville tee shirt that said "girls bite back" and I then looked at the time and realized that I had a half an hour before the mall opens so I would put on some makeup up. I applied light golden eyeshadow and a tad bit of mascara, my eyelashes are naturally curled so I didn't need to curl them, only apply mascara. I still had twenty minutes so I went over to my record player and put in my Lana Del Rey album, Brooklyn Baby came on, and everytime and Lana said 'and my boyfriend is in a band' I thought, he's gone. Soon enough time passed and Tyler came into my room and laid next to me.

We stared at nothing but the ceiling, listening to Lana.

"You ready?" Tyler asked

"Uhhhh yea..." As much as I loved shopping, buying stuff for cancer was just weird.

I turned of the record player and ran to the car with Tyler, we hopped in my jeep and blasted Emblem3 all the way to the mall.

Our first stop was pacsun, I went straight to the neff beanies and began to look, Tyler helped too.

"What about this one?" Tyler laughed.

"YES OF COURSE!!!!" I laughed, it was a beanie with pandas on it, that was the first I have seen one of those so I had to get it.

At the end of cashing out I spent $110 worth of beanies, which means I got 6 beanies. I got a black one, burgundy one, a turquoise one, a panda one, a grey one, and a periwinkle one.

We walked over to the Yums place and got to the desk to pick up the stuff.

"Here's your order, Ms. Troye, and White Tee left a note in there for you too." The man said.

"Thanks so much!" I said while grabbing the package.

"No problem! See you guys soon!" The man said.

"Bye!"

We walked back to the car to put the package of beanies away as well as the ones I just bought at PacSun.

"I'm hungry, want chipotle?" Tyler asked.

"Sure bud!" I said skipping to the food court

Tyler laughed at me and just ran behind me pretending he was and airplane. But as soon as we walked back into mall food court we were like 'we are cool' and then just started laughing again. After chipolte, I just gave Tyler a look and he knew.

"You want to go to Brandy Melville and Hot Topic don't you."

"Please??" I said giving Tyler a big smile

"Haha FINE!" Tyler said laughing as soon as we approached Brandy I ran in and just did my thing, Tyler was even messing around and trying on clothes to until they asked him to stop. I ended up getting a couple of shirts and a flannel. When I walked into hot topic tyler noticed I was ready to get some band teeshirts. After I grabbed a mayday parade and nirvana tee shirt I liked, I was walking through the rows when I saw this beanie, I walked passed it and then walked back. It was a cute simple beanie, it was black and had little kitty ears at the top.

"Lilly that is so you!" Tyler said

I just gave him and look and started laughing. I walked up to the register and cashed out. After I went to a couple stores with tyler and then we went home. The night was pretty chill and Laraine called me to tell me what time she was going to pick me up. Tyler and I both feel asleep on the couch at like 1am, the day went a lot better that expected but I knew tomorrow was probably going to be an emotional hell.

SORRY I DONT UPDATE ALOT BUT IM MAKING MYSELF EVER WEEKEND UPDATE FOR YOU BC ILYSM GUYS SO YEAAAA AND I HAVE CAN UP WITH A PERSON TO PLAY LILLY SO IF YOU WANT TO I GUESS IMAGINE WHAT LILLY LOOKS LIKE SHE LOOKS LIKE MAIA MITCHELL 💕💕
