(Taehyung POV)

"Jungkook-ah. Jin and Jimin have been gone for quite the time now. I'm... I'm worried that maybe father found them. We can't keep her cell empty for long." I say with a worried tone.

They've been gone for a day and a half now. And Father is out looking for Jin and Jimin. The anticipation builds up continuously without an end. I know I'm worried for my brothers, of course, I am, but Y/N... Y/N is killing me.

"Taehyung, you know that Jin is a very clever person. He'll figure out a way to get Y/N back without anyone even knowing she was gone. He'll figure out a way. And if he doesn't, we have to help him." Jungkook taps his finger aimlessly on a glass table.

"You're right. I shouldn't have underestimated Hyung." I curse myself, but deep down I know that this time, Jin is in quite the predicament.

(Your POV)

"Sehun, we're in your debt. Please come to the castle when you feel you are ready." Jin bites back his tongue as he slowly talks to Sehun.

"Toodleloo!" Sehun playfully salutes us away.

Jin grabs onto your arm and pulls you into an alternate path. "Jimin will lead you back to the castle." Jin stops abruptly and stares at Jimin. "Please. Restrain yourself. For Y/N's sake." and with that, Jin sprints away without another word.

Jimin nods. "Let's go."

As they run through the lush greens of the summer daytime weather, Jimin stops. He turns around and looks at you. "I'm sorry, I got you into this by bringing you all the way out here." He turns back to running with his head hung, not giving you a chance to reply.

Soon enough, they make it back to the castle purely on foot. Jimin waves down someone in the cover of the trees. Taehyung runs to you with an anxious expression.

"Y/N, are you alright?" Taehyung passionately grips your shoulders and squeezes. "Jimin, did anything happen? Where's Hyung?" Taehyung floods us with questions.

"Taehyung, we're fine. Just a bit tired. I presume Jin is trying to stall father. So we mustn't waste time." Jimin pushes Taehyung aside. "Please leave me be. Just tend to her right now."

Taehyung gives in and sighs. The way he's standing and presenting himself to you clearly shows he was in a lot of distress. Taehyung wasn't more than 4 feet away from you. He was rather close. Close enough that you can feel his pants of uneasy breaths. Taehyung quickly interrupts your observations and says, "Y/N, we must get going. I'm sorry to rush you, but Jungkook and I are rather worried."

"Jungkook?" You utter in confusion.

"Yes."

"Why?"

Taehyung continues to lead you to the cells but looks over his shoulder to meet your eyes. "You believe he doesn't care for you?"

"His actions speak for themselves." You scoff.

He sighs. "I know he appears to be a jerk, but please provide him a chance. He can be somewhat pleasant when you get to know him."

You don't answer. You don't want to argue with him. But you know that Jungkook is not someone who you can communicate with, even bare to mention. Jungkook frustrates you, you try to be kind and understanding, but the nicer you are, the crueler he is. It baffles you, even more, to know that he "cares" for you.

"We're here." Taehyung stops the both of you, looking through a small crack in the wall, to see Jungkook distracting the guards. "Hurry." He whispers as he opens the door.

As you sneak into the cell, your eyes meet with Jungkook for a brief moment, but you immediately pull away.

Stepping into the cell, you breathe a sigh of a long-awaited relief. The guards quietly pass over your cell not sparing you a single look. But Jungkook lingers in the hallway.

After a while, Taehyung appears next to Jungkook, whispering something. Jungkook then gives a small nod and departs.

~~~~~~~~
"You must be hungry." Startled, you jump. Looking around to find the source of the voice, you see Jungkook. "Taehyung told me to give this to you." He quietly walks passed the rest of the cells as he meets yours.
"Ah, please tell him thank you." You say, getting up from the ground. He mumbles something unintelligible, but you brush it off thinking it was another rude remark.
An uncomfortable silence hangs in the room as he continues to sit in front of you. You eat your food, but your curiosity is once again killing you.
Why is he still here? Is he going to mention last time? Is he ok?
"Hey--" You begin to say, but Jungkook cuts you off.
"I'm waiting for the plate."
You look down, but it's only a paper plate.
"Jung--"
"Y/N, Jungkook, are you doing ok?" Taehyung walks in the room. "Father has still not arrived... Jin is presumably with him..." Taehyung wears a worried face.
Jungkook stands up as soon as he came in. "I'm sure he's fine, Father wouldn't anything of the sort to Jin."
Taehyung meets your eyes and a smile grows on his face, any signs of distress had dissipated.
"Y/N, we'll get you out soon. Are you doing ok? I see Jungkook has visited." Taehyung sits down where Jungkook was originally was and continues to smile.
"Yes, I'm doing well, I'll be well as long as you guys don't forget me." You joke.
Jungkook's face hardens as well as Taehyung's. "I... We won't forget you Y/N." Jungkook says as he turns his body to face you.
"I was just--"
"Please don't think that way of us, we won't forget you or Yuna." Taehyung says.
Yuna.
You had forgotten Yuna had even existed. You've been caught up with everything happening, You didn't realize that Yuna was not getting the time she needed to talk with the boys. You start to scowl, but start to pity her at the same time. As much as you hated her, she was being shunned and you felt bad.
"I- Alright." You say, putting your head down.
"I hate seeing you through these bars, it pains me." Taehyung groans.
"Me too." You reply, pushing a hair behind your ear.
Taehyung smiles and gets up to leave. "I'll see you soon."
Jungkook lags behind Taehyung and stares at you, making you uncomfortable. He then lunges to you, causing you to jump.
He then gingerly comes close to your ear, tickling it with his breath.
"I'm sorry."
