(Yoongi POV)
The bed is cold and lonely. I've been sitting in the same place for two days now, and my chest still hurts. The nurse says it's not anything medical, so she doesn't know what to do. Since then, I was informed Y/N, Yuna, and Taehyung had gone out to visit their families, Y/N must've been remarkably happy.
Y/N comes quietly into the room, careful not to make a sound. She approaches my bed and looks at my face.
"Y/N-ah, Good evening." I smile.
She smiles back and takes a seat near my bed. "How have you been? Are you any better?" She grabs something out of her pocket and places on the nightstand.
"Yes, I'm considerably better. I heard you went out with Taehyung and Yuna? How did that go?" I sit up in bed and turn my attention to Y/N.
"Erm... Haha, not too well. My parents didn't seem very well, they wanted me to leave the kingdom with them." She fiddles with the hinge of her shirt.
"You didn't leave with them?" I ask.
She wanted to leave the kingdom so badly, she had the chance right then. Why didn't she leave?
"I..." Y/N looks off to the side and tucks a piece of hair behind her ear.
"I'm glad you stayed anyways," I mumble.
She composes herself and looks back up at me. "S-So, have you figured out what's in the dart yet?"
"No, my chest's been aching, but the doctor can't understand why."
"Your chest?" She comes in close and quietly examines it with her eyes. Suddenly, she places her hand on my chest and observes. "The only thing I can point out is your heart beating unusually fast." She lifts away and grabs a cup of water. "Here."
"T-Thanks." I sip the water quietly.
Y/N comes out with one of my thick jackets in her hands. "Can you get up?"
I nod and slowly get up. Stumble towards Y/N. "Thank you-" I smile as she quietly helps me put on my jacket.
We take the door to my left, guiding us outside. The landscape and the appearance of the marvelous sunset send Y/N's mouth agape.
"It's wonderful!" She exclaims, running closer to catch a better look.
Limping, I follow her. "Y/N, p-please slow down--" I reach out for her, and she turns around with an astounding smile on her face, but it soon fades as I fall on my knees.
"Yoongi!"
She dropped honorifics. It feels... nice...?
Y/N runs over just in time to catch me from collapsing any further. "Are you alright? What happened?!" She sets a shaking palm on my cheek and almost yells at me. "I-I'll grab the d-doctor!" Y/N jumps from her feet and starts to leave, but I hastily grab her wrist.
"I'd rather stay here with you than have to spend another day in that wretched bed." I give a weak smile and pull her down next to me.
"B-But--"
"I'm just a bit weak. I haven't walked in a couple of days, so it's natural for me to fall." I continue to cling to her wrist.
"I-It's not a side-effect?"
Her face is visibly rosy, adorable.
I look up to the sky and smile. "I don't believe so."
She slumps to her knees and lets out an exhausted breath. "Thank goodness."
Y/N scoots closer to me and places my head on her knees.
"Are you going to be there for the ball tomorrow?" She asks quietly.
"Hopefully. I'd like to see you in a dress anyway, haha." I joke.
I look up at her when I don't hear her laugh with mine.
"Haha..." She brings her hand up to cover her face. "I-It's getting dark, Prince. Let's head inside."
I shake my head. "Not yet. Let's stay like this just a bit longer."
I'm feeling quite bold today, aren't I?
She rests her head on her shoulder and closes her eyes.
"Alright."
