(Your POV)

"Yoongi!!"  You shout at the top of your lungs and wait until your lungs squeeze out its last bit of air until you focus back on the monster behind you. You didn't have time to see if Yoongi had heard you or not, so you whipped around your head, halfway out the window and staring at the man approaching you.

He'll find me. He'll find me.

You turn your attention back to the King and begin to pry your ankle away from him. "Get the fuck off of me!" Pulling your ankle back, you launch it suddenly toward his face. Once you make contact, you hear him roar in pain and grasp his jaw.

"You bitch!"

"I know why you hate me. It's because of my father, isn't it? Isn't it?" You challenge with an unwavering voice.

He guffaws. "He deserves every bit of it. He turned these children into tiny little versions of himself and it disgusts me every time I see them." He spits. "Yoongi especially. I'm so glad that I made Namjoom poison that bastard. Seeing him rot in bed was a pleasure." The King flashes a smile as he cautiously inches toward you.

"Why even adopt them then?!"

"Someone needs to carry my legacy!" He shouts back in desperation.

"Yours should be forgotten." You utter in disgust. "You killed your wife. You killed your child. And you have the audacity to adopt seven wonderful children and mentally and physically abuse them." You huff as you look down and out the window, spotting the seven boys you were talking about frantically running around to try to help. You could see basically the whole yard, but the one person you couldn't find was Yoongi.

He's coming.

Suddenly he lunges toward you like some kind of rabid animal. You flinch and stumble backward closing your eyes in fear of what'll happen next.

"Y/N!!" Yoongi's voice screams your name in such urgency, your eyes snap open to see him standing in the doorway behind the King.

"Yoongi--" Before you could finish, the King flips around to face Yoongi.

He grins and laughs, "I pummeled you half to death before, what makes you think I can't now?" He slowly strides toward Yoongi, fist clenched.

You didn't want to see him bedridden again. You knew he had just recently recovered; you didn't want to put him through any more pain. Collecting your courage, you slide under the King's legs and jump up between the two men, blocking Yoongi from him.

"Brave, aren't we?" Before he could hit you or Yoongi, you tackle him and push him toward the window. Screaming out in desperation, you feel hands enveloping you as you push. "Yoongi!" The King was heavy and powerful, but he couldn't take on the both of you. He stumbled as Yoongi began to push as well.

"H-Hey! Stop!" He grasped onto the frame of the window in hopes of launching himself back up, but Yoongi's final push made him finally fall out the window. Panting, you watch him fall onto the food table and lose consciousness.

Returning your attention back to Yoongi, you pant. "You came..." You murmur as you weakly fall into his arms.

"Of course I did. You think I wouldn't when you call my name?" He pats your head and shoves his face between your shoulder and head. "I'm just glad I made it on time." He laughed. "Even though you did all the work."

You laugh along with him, "Isn't this weird? We just sent a man out the window of the three-story building."

"He deserved it."

Both now laughing, you quietly stop and smile into his chest. "I want to stay like this forever. With you."

Yoongi didn't answer. He didn't really know how. Was she saying what he thought she was saying?

"I... I do too." He whispered so quietly she could only pick up the end of his light words.

Yoongi held onto her even tighter. "I... I want to hold you like this forever. I want to keep you safe. I want to stay with you until we grow old. I want to see you smile. I want all of you."

Your eyes begin to pool. "Yoongi..." You squeeze him close as well. "I love you. I love you so much." Your voice cracks and a tear trickles down your cheek.

A sigh of relief leaves Yoongi's lungs. "I love you too." He pulls away from you and kisses you lightly on the forehead as more tears begin to flow.

"Unconscious?" Shouts Jungkook. "I didn't think she had it in her."

"Jungkook." Jin nudges him.

You nod your head slowly. "The king came in unexpectedly in my room and attacked me." You clear your throat. "Yoongi had just come in and defended me."

Namjoon nods his head with you. "Seems like him. Are you alright?"

"Just a little startled." You laugh softly.

Taehyung comes up behind you and squeezes your shoulder tightly but with reassurance radiating from his palm. They all made sure you were alright while Jin was busy dealing with the police and the logistics of the situation. He had looked over at you and smiled.

Jimin comes up next to you and says quietly, "So, I take it you made your choice?" He looks at you, meeting your eyes with a sad smile.

All you could do it give a small nod. You didn't know how to break it to them because you thought it would hurt their hearts.

"It's ok, Y/N. I don't want you to feel guilty about choosing someone. We all want you to be happy, even though that is with someone else." Hoseok pats your back lightly and walks away as Yoongi strides toward you.

"Hey," Yoongi says with a bright smile.

"Hey" You smile back.

He exhales and sighs. "I just dealt with that whole thing over there. He's getting exiled."

You exhale. "Thank God we won't have to be dealing with him anymore." You laugh.

"It's just you and me now, Y/N."

The once king of the seven brothers' land was now exiled. Yoongi and yourself finally had time to yourselves without any odd impending doom that was waiting for you at the end of the tunnel.

Both you and Yoongi were soon after inaugurated and became the new rulers of your kingdom and vowed to rule with kindness and advocate for unity, something that completely contrasted the ideals and values of the once dictator. The two of you had your wedding and now, you could just sit in the garden in peace. The two of you ruled over your new kingdom whilst looking into the clear water that rippled throughout the lake, reminiscing on the chaos that brought the two of you together in the first place.
