RILEY'S POV
I got home after hanging out with Ally, Jack, and Ethan, and when Ethan and I walked in, we heard voices coming from my father's study. We decided to sneak by the door and see who he was talking to when we found our mother and someone else. As they spoke, the person turned to our mother and we saw that it was Donovan.

"Why is he here?" I angrily whispered.

"No clue." Ethan shrugged, equally confused.

"Unbelievable."

"Go to your room. I'll try to find out what they're talking about and I'll meet you there. Pretend to be asleep or something."

"Okay."

I crawled away and he stood up and knocked on the door before entering. When I reached the stairs, I stood up and walked to my room, then flopped on my bed.

'Why the hell is he here?' I thought.

A few minutes went by before there was a knock at my door and Ethan walked in.

"They kicked me out, but basically, they were discussing how they feel about this." He told me as he ruffled his hair.

"And?"

"He's confused and doesn't know how to feel but wants to be able to spend more time with you. Before they kicked me out, he mentioned a weekend getaway."

"Hell no!" I yelled.

"I don't know if Mom and Dad agreed, though." He tried to comfort.

"Of course they agreed." I sighed in defeat.

Just when I thought that I finally had my life under control, this happens. Ethan and I tried to brainstorm what he could be thinking, then there was a knock at my door and Ethan opened it, revealing Donovan.

"Is it cool if I talk to her?" Donovan asked Ethan.

"Now's not a good time, she's not feeling well."

"Oh... Okay. Sorry." He said before leaving.

After he left, Ethan tried to cheer me up and suggested going to a party. I agreed to it and later that night, we headed out and I met Ally there.

"Hey!" I greeted as I hugged her.

"I didn't know that Noah was coming." She told me in shock.

"He's here? I never knew that he goes to parties."

"Me neither, that's why I was shocked. Jack said he saw him in the kitchen."

"Weird..."

I told them I'd be back and headed to the kitchen, but wished that I hadn't when I found Noah making out with another girl.

"What the fuck, Noah?" I growled.

"Shit, Riley, what are you doing here?" He asked in shock.

"No, what are you doing here?"

"Getting a drink?"

"Oh fuck you." I said as I rolled my eyes.

I started walking away, then he caught up to me.

"Riley don't-"

"Save it. We're done."

"But I love you!"

"Nice try."

I walked off again and found Ethan, Ally, and Jack, then accepted the drink that Jack had waiting for me. We had a few more drinks and Ethan designated himself our driver, so we got drunk while he babysat us.

"So... I got cheated on." I laughed.

"By Noah?" Ally laughed.

"That's what I thought."

"Where is he?" Ethan demanded.

"I don't know."

Ethan left us for a bit and we laughed again before hearing a loud crash. We followed Jack to the crowd and found Noah laying on a broken table, groaning in pain.

"Ri, Donovan's here." Ally whispered.

"Great." I sarcastically replied.

Ethan joined us again and Donovan made eye contact with me before we walked off with my brother.

"What the hell, Ethan?" Ally scolded.

"Nobody fucks with my sister."

"Aw." I smiled as I hugged him.

After a while, everything went back to normal, then we all decided to dance. Someone grabbed my arm and dragged me to the side and I thought that it was Noah, but it was Donovan. Before I could make a bitchy remark, he kissed me, so I pushed him away.

"What do you think you're doing?"

"Kissing my girl." He smirked.

"Don't call me that!"

"It's the truth." He laughed.

I got annoyed, so I threw my drink on him, then rejoined the others.

"Where'd you go?" Jack asked.

"Nowhere."

"Then dance with me!"

I laughed as we all danced, then after a few hours, the party started to die down, so Ethan drove Ally and Jack home, then we got home.

"Tonight was crazy!" I laughed.

"It was, but it was awesome!"

"Wait, sh!" I whispered as we walked into the house.

We laughed as quietly as we could, then after I showered and put on my pajamas, I headed to his room and we sat on his bed and talked about random things until we passed out.
