"Wake up!" He smacks my behind hard and a yelp escapes my lips.

"Seriously? Fuck you," I groan and throw a pillow at him. He catches it and throws it back.

"I'm trying to change, Danielle," He slips under the covers beside me and kisses my head. "But, I can't do that without some help. I need to go to the clinic, but I don't want to go alone. I don't trust myself to check in if I'm alone,"

"Okay," I whisper, turning to lay flat on my back. "I'm glad to see you still here," I brushed a few hairs off his forehead. "Really glad," I give a slight smile and he nods.

"Me too," He kisses my noes and quickly gets back out of bed. "Now, come on! I'm getting hungry and I think it's time we start acting like a real couple," He slips on a pair of pants and a shirt from his cheat of drawers.

"You want to go out? Like, to a restaurant?" I sit up on my knees and crawl to the edge of the bed. "We haven't done that in months," I whisper. He walks over towards me and holds my face firmly in his hands.

"I want to change, Danielle. I know that it's going to take a lot of time for us to get back like we use to be, but I am going to so everything in my power to get is back there." He kisses my lips, and I moan against his mouth.

"You haven't kisses me lip that in a long time." His face falls and his eyes are telling me how sorry he is.

"There's a lot of things I haven't done right in a long time. Replacing all of the kisses is first." He gives a slight smile an I kiss him once more.

"You know I love you?"

"You know you're stronger than anyone I know?"

"Mr. Reedus?" An older lady holding a clipboard calls from the counter. We both stand up quickly and walk towards her. "We need to discuss what times you will want to be here, whether you would like to stay here, or go home aft-"

"I'd like to go home after the visits." He cuts her off before she's able to finish her sentence.

"Don't be rude." I lean closer and whisper in his ear. "Give her time, Norm. Everything is your decision. No one is making them for you." I reach down and hold his hand in mine. He gives a small smile and the lady continues.

"Okay, that can be arranged." She smiles and begins to write on the clipboard. "What course would you like to take? Just drugs? Or drugs and alcohol?"

"Drugs and Alcohol, please." She gives a nod.

"Right, now, is there someone in the house hold that can help you through everything? Fighting urges, keeping you calm, being supportive of any decisions you make, the whole nine yards?"

"That would be me." I quickly spoke up. She gazes at us both but quickly nods again.

"Alright, Mr. Reedus, I think you're ready to start. We do monthly tests for the drug and alcohol courses, so be aware of those. We're open twenty four hours, so if you're ever having an extra bad night, you're welcome to come and get a room. Unfortunately, your course does not start until tomorrow morning. Be here around nine thirty, just to be on the safe side." She hands him a few papers for his signature and me a few for mine. "Mrs. Reedus, these are for you to sign, as well. If anything ever goes wrong, you'll be able to pick him up or drop him off without any questions. Just show your I.D."

"O-okay." I feel my cheeks heat up at the thought of being "Mrs. Reedus"

"We're not married." I furrow my eyebrows and frown. She gives me a sincere look and turns her attention back to Norman.
