7: A Glimpse of Yesterday (The Secret Plan - 1)

Hi guys!! This is ONLY a short update...Mianhe for delaying the updates...I'm typing this story on my cp and at the same time, I'm writing my next chapters on my notebook...It's hard...TTT__TTT...But I'll continue this....Fighting...

"What if we give him a cosplay party?" Lay suggested.

"I don't think others will wear heavy stuff just for Tao. Let's make an 'entrapment operation' instead," Jackie ordered.

"What do you mean, Jackie?" Caitlyn asked.

"It's like we'll celebrate his birthday as a normal day for him at first. And then, we will surprise him before the night. Is that good?" Jackie explained.

"Oh, I like your idea, Jackie. The feeling that everyone snobs Tao at the day, but they prepared something special for him...Awww...That was so sweet!" Caitlyn exclaimed.

"Just like you and Suho earlier at the playground, SO SWEET..." Jackie's mind continued.

"That's right, Caitlyn. I agree with your plan. What about you, Suho hyung?" Lay asked Suho.

"H-Ha? A-Ah, yes, yes. I also agree," Suho replied.

"Hyung, is there something wrong?" Lay questioned.

"It's not something, Lay. It's 'someone,'" Jackie entered. Both Suho and Caitlyn looked at Jackie and gave her a 'please-don't-spill-it' look.

"Ah, nevermind. Don't think about it, Lay. Let's focus on our plan instead," Jackie declared.

"Y-Yes, Jackie's right. Shall we proceed?" Suho said. The rest nodded in agreement. Lay was puzzled on what's happening to his hyung.

After their meeting about Tao's birthday, they decided to go home to take lunch. Lay called his hyung to ask something.

"Suho hyung, can you please stay for a while? I wanna ask you something,"

"Okay, Lay. Jackie, Caitlyn. Go ahead. Lay will tell something to me," Suho said

"See you around, Suho," the two girls responded.

After the girls left, Lay sat with Suho ob the sofa. "Hyung, is there something wrong?" Lay repeated his question earlier.

"I-I told you earlier, th-there's nothing wrong, Lay," Suho stammered.

"I know you, hyung. It's too obvious. Come on. Tell me. I won't tell others about this," Lay said as he raised his hand as a proof.

"Okay..." Suho surrendered. "I'm so shy," he said as he slightly bowed his head.

"Don't be, hyung. It's no big deal," Lay assured. "Tell me."

"It's about what happened last time when I was about to go here..." Suho started. He then shared what happened at the playground until they reached Lay's house.

"Oh..." Lay nodded. "That's what happened, right?"

"Y-yes," Suho replied.

"You know, hyung, you are really obvious. You like Caitlyn, don't you?" Lay said straight-to-the-point.

Suho was taken aback when he heard Lay's question. Does he like Caitlyn? Does that feeling made him run onto her when he saw Caitlyn crying? Does that feeling made him want to know Caitlyn more?

"I-I don't know, Lay...I can't explain what I feel..."Suho stutteredly answered.

"Think about it, hyung. Advice from a friend," Lay said aa he tapped his friend's shoulder and went to their kitchen.

Suho was still in a state of shock. He wanted to confirm if Lay's observation was right. He then recalled what happened at the playground.

"Why did I went to her when I saw her crying? Why did I hold her hand immediately? Am I that clumsy enough? I don't want Caitlyn to think something bad at me. I must explain to her," Suho thought.

While walking on their way towards their home, Jackie and Caitlyn didn't speak to each other. They both wanted to say something to each other, but they don't have the urge to start talking.

"Jackie/Caitlyn..." They both called as they looked at each other.

"You go first," They both said.

They became silent again. But as they gain enough courage, they talked again simultaneously.

"Jackie/Caitlyn..."

"Ahm, you go first,"

They laughed at what they're doing. Then, Caitlyn started speaking, "Jackie, about what happened at the pl-"

"Stop," Jackie interrupted Caitlyn's words. "Don't mind it. From what I have observed at the playground, I think that my hypothesis is true enough."

"What are you pertaining to, Jackie?" Caitlyn asked.

"That Suho likes you," Jackie said straighforwardly.
