The days went by fast. After our talk that night dad and I became really close. He took me to town the next morning to get a new number and phone. I called my manager and lawyer. Neither of them had good news.

My manager Will, had to pay an excessive amount of money to cancel three contracts.  I knew what I was doing what was for the best. I had stay away from the eyes of paparazzi and Hollywood gossips for a while. Fans and media will forget about me eventually and when the time comes for all this to come out they won't make a big deal out of this...I hope. Next time I would be seeing Ryan will be in court because even when a part of me wanted to make this easy and just walk away another part wanted him to be punished for what he did to me. His fans needed to know who he really was and how much help he needed. It was a hard decision, I wanted things to be conducted privately but being famous didn't really leave me with a lot of options. People would be frantic and excited about the gossip as soon as the press finds out.

It has been a week since I saw Blake and Miranda, on the Halloween carnival, and two weeks since I got back.  I have been avoiding the topic but today I gathered the strength to go over there and talk to her. She asked me to come and now that I was back home it was fair to let her explain everything to me, even though I wasn’t planning on doing what she asked of me.

“Are you going to the stables today?” dad asked as he poured my morning coffee in a new mug he had gotten for me in town.

“Yes, I want to work with Brandon” I said biting into my toast as I checked the end of contracts terms. I had to print them today and send them back with my signature on them.

“Brandon won’t be here today, but, Joshua will help with the horses” he explained while sitting in front of me. Brandon was the stable master and I have been helping him to train the horses for the past week.

I had even visited the untamable horse during this week. He liked when I brushed his hair and I fed him apples when Brandon went out of the stables. I was still thinking of a good name for him.

“I'm not going to miss Brandon. He is bad tempered. He's always yelling at me”

“That is because you're changing his territory. If you hadn't moved the food and hairbrushes from where he likes to have them he wouldn't be mad at you all the time. Everyone knows not to mess with Brandon.” dad said with a wide grin.

“You could've told me, Harry.” I said, rolling my eyes. Dad didn't tell me about Brandon obsessive behavior with his space and the staples. I went there and reorganized everything, when he came back he threw a tantrum and yelled a lot.

“Take it as your initiation into the ranch”  he smiled and walked to the kitchen door. He took his hat from the hanger beside the sink and put it on.

I stood up drinking the coffee in a long sip and ran to my room to get my coat.

The days were colder as the winter approached.

“Wait for me!” I yelled while running from my room.

“It is 5:35 am, Liv. I'm late!”

“ You're such a drama queen, dad. We're on time” my lips moved upwards drawing a smile on my face.

“Kids these days...no respect” I heard him murmur under his breath.

I quietly laughed and hurried up to walk beside him. My legs were sore from the work I had been doing on the ranch during these weeks. I was dying to get a chance to go to town and pamper myself but I knew I had more work coming on the way.

It was still dark.  The end of autumn was approaching and the sky was clouded with gray fog and stars. It was chill at this time of the day, almost cold. I rubbed my arms in an attempt to heat my body while making a mental note to wear gloves next morning.  Dad walked beside me. He was a mysterious man, he never talked too much and never lose his temper in front of others with the exception of the night we spoke of my abuse. I wondered what he did with his life after I left.
