Chapter 13-A Day In My New Life

I just sat there, thinking about what I said to him. I really did tell him the truth. The truth that I tried so hard to keep. The truth that made me feel ashamed.

Audrey, she's my daughter. A daughter that I got out of getting raped. I was never reluctant to accept the baby when I found out of it but I was scared. No terrified of what my rapist could do to my child. They took Audrey away the moment she was born and announced it as my aunt's child since Audrey has Alpha Blood. It was not shocking what they did.

I was grateful and still am to the Moon Goddess for allowing me to keep my child close by. Someone knocks and I look towards the door.

"Do you mind if I come in?" Bella asked and I nodded.She sat beside me on the bed and I stared at the ground." I heard about Audrey." Word does go around quickly. "Why didn't you tell me?" My heart beats faster as the clock continues ticking.

"I was ashamed." I mumbled. "Why are you ashamed Faye?" Bella held my hand in a reassuring way.

"Audrey, she was born because I was raped. The moment I found out, I was h worried that they would take her away from me." I was not sad nor on the verge of crying. "She was the best thing that happened in my not so perfect life. Once Audrey was born, they took her away and announced it as the Luna's child. I grieved not being able to take care and love my child. I was still young then but I loved my baby infinitely and I still do." I gave Bella a small smile.

"I am sorry for what I said just now. I didn't mean it. You are the strongest person I know. In this world, there is only one Faye and that is you. My beautiful and loving best friend is you." She gives me a reassuring smile. I am so grateful that I have a best friend like her.

"Bella, Aiden knows about Audrey and now he is ignoring me." My heart aches at the scene that happened an hour ago. After he cursed, he just left. I was left confused but mostly hurt. "Its better if you go now." I stand up and walk towards the door. I open the door for her and she hugged me briefly. I waved her goodbye.

Once she left, I walk towards the king-sized bed and climb on it. I felt the soft mattress sink a little and I got in the comfort of the blanket. I switch off the lamp.

All I could smell was my mate's scent.I drifted off to sleep.

The shining light blinds me a little. I turn around and shield my body from the sunlight. I slowly attempted to open my eyes. I was still on his bed. I sit up and stretch my sore body. The blankets beside me was placed messily. He did come here to sleep. I look at my phone placed on the table beside the bed. It was only nine in the morning.

I get up and wash up until I realized that I had no new clothes. I walk into the walk-in closet to search for clothes. I was shocked to see half of the clothes there were for ladies. I take a shirt and leggings with new undergarments. I wonder why he has woman's clothes in his closet?

After getting dressed, I head downstairs. I was greeted by a squeal from Audrey. I hug and kiss her cheek. "Faye, Faye hungwy." I giggled at the way she spoke which was so cute. I carried her towards the kitchen. I was greeted by a woman in her late 30s. She gives me a heartwarming smile.

I smile back brightly." You must be Faye. Come sit down honey." The woman gestured to the dining table. I gave her a small smile before settling down with Audrey. "May I ask who are you and how do you know my name?"I  asked, cluelessly.

"My son has spoken to us about you. Your mate is my son. Oh dear, I haven't introduced myself. I am Emily, former Luna of Black Moon Pack and also Aiden's Mother." I sat frozen in my spot. I am meeting his mother out of the blue.
