Bright daylight dimmed my eyes from opening. Struggling to open my eyes, I had to rub it several times. As my eyes adjusted to the light, Audrey was still sound asleep, in my arms.

I reminisce the words she said last night, "Goodwight, Mummy." I felt pleased to be able to hear her call me Mummy for the first time since she was born. Our mother and daughter bond strengthened.

I slowly lift myself from the comfortable bed. Sleeping in would be nice but I have way too many stuff to do today. I did my usual morning routine. Audrey eventually woke up and I cleaned her up. We spend the morning together before I send her off to Aiden's parents.

With Audrey taken care of, I head to the pack library which is a building about 4-storey-high. I was startled when I found out this pack has its very own library. They had a level worth of myths and supernatural books. I look through the werewolf section to find a book entitled 'The White Wolf'. I open up the first page and scanned through briefly. I flip the pages until I settle on a page.

White wolves in the 21st century are highly rare. If possible, the White Wolf will be one of the strongest creatures in the supernatural world. In the body of a mortal lays an immortal creature.

The page ends with those few sentences. I turn back to the more historical information.

White Wolves were always looked up upon. They obtained powers worth of a god. The perspectives of all white wolves changed when one became wicked. Several centuries ago, there was one White Wolf named Amber. She was the omega of Blue Stone Pack. When she discovered that she was a White Wolf, she unleashed her powers and murdered her pack. She evilly took over packs by killing their Alphas. At the time, Alphas were worried that their pack might be her next target. They came up with a solution to end her life. By using the power of an experienced witch, a spell called Astorine.

The spell to tame down immortal powers and together, they killed her on the spot. Her story passed down from generation to generation. Views towards White Wolves turned immoral. Every White Wolf known, either get killed or they committed suicide due to the harsh treatment they received.

A stray tear streamed down my cheeks. I wipe away the tear and flipped to the next page.

White Wolves are able to control the four elements of earth; air, water, earth, and fire. They are specially equipped with battlefield skills; attacking and defense skills. Healing powers are given as a blessing to the White Wolves by the Moon Goddess. Visions envisioned by White Wolves are more accurate than that of an Oracle.

I turn to the next page.

White Wolves can protect others using a protective barrier by visualizing that particular place or person.

That page also ends there. There is not enough information about the White Wolf. I look through and see an image of a white wolf with red eyes and a name placed below 'Amber'. Chills run down my spine. I felt goosebumps creep at the edge of my skin. She reflected a dark aura. I close the book. It seems that since 'Amber', people feared White Wolves and killed the population altogether. They were never curious as they were overshadowed by their fears. Just because of one bad blood, all the innocent ones paid the price.

I look through other shelves for Witches Spell Book. Once I found one, I settled down. I flip the pages to find that one particular spell; Astorine. I scanned through each page carefully this time to find the spell I was looking for.

Astorine

Spell known for taming immortal powers for at most a day. This spell only works when an experienced and powerful witch performs it. If they are not powerful enough, they will instantly die. This spell has only worked once on a White Wolf named 'Amber', the spell performed by Cassy Amberham.
