I remained in the same state as I was in.

I feel someone coming by and my senses picks up its exotic scent. I turn around in a flash and penetrated that person on the chest. The monster flies back a great distance, colliding with his guys as they landed on the ground with a loud 'THUD!'. With a menacing glare, I pace towards him. His guys backing away from me. They are not guarding their Alpha. So much for being a leader.

"Now, even your men fear me!" I elevate my hand and was about to shatter him into bits when someone spoke up. "Faye!" Aiden stands beside me and grasps my hand into his. I snap out of my daze. I crumbled into his chest. He thoughtfully strokes my hair and embraces me. Aiden pushes a strand of hair from my face for our eyes to meet. "I will deal with him. You can rest now."

"Alyssa, come forward." I hear shuffles coming from the direction of my pack. Aiden lets go of his hold on me and my mom wraps her arms around my shoulders, bringing me closer to her. We stand in line with the other pack members, who didn't move or flinch. They didn't chatter, not even a sound coming for them which made me feel comfortable.

"Let's battle till one of us dies and no one here is to intervene." And just like that, the both of them transform into their huge wolves and their bodies collide. Attempting to claw at each other's throats instead leaving marks at different parts of their bodies.

I wince as the monster claws at my mate's stomach. I felt my lower abdomen ache as the strike keeps coming. The pain was excruciating that I collapse. "Faye! Faye! Why? What's wrong?" That voice belonged to my Mom.

"It burns. He has to fight back." I exhale. Sweat forms on my forehead as the pain circulates through my body as a venom would. My eyes lazily watch as my mate starts getting up and repositioning himself. I believe in him. Aiden fights back twice as hard which stuns the monster himself. You dug your own grave the moment you laid a hand on me, monster. I will never overlook what you did but I will never let you haunt me for as long as I live.

One last claw at his heart. His body falls to the ground and the battlefield was silent. Bursts of cheers filled the air. We won. The enemy tries their luck to escape. Sadly today is not their day. I set a boundary to restrict them from leaving. Horrified looks made its way to their faces as they are obliged to accept defeat. "Now, the Red Crescent Pack is under my command. Accept me as your Alpha."

Plenty of heads surrendered to their new Alpha while some headstrong ones just won't. "Those who will not yield to me will get what you deserve as you portray as a menace to my pack." Slashes of knives could be heard everywhere and bodies fall to the ground. Looks of terror on the enemy's faces. I feel melancholy for them.

I use all that's left of my body strength to sit up. I rise with the assistance of my mom. I walk slowly to my mate, as I locate bruises on his body. "Aiden, sit down. "He raises an eyebrow and does as instructed. I locate his bruises and place my hand on it. The blemishes mended smoothly without any trace left behind. Aiden looks at awe to me. "Anybody else wounded come forward now."

Pack members form a line as they get attended by me. They thank me one by one as they become strong once again. The line soon comes to an end and Aiden picks me up from the ground. "Warriors, clear the bodies and the rest of the pack can head back." Aiden gave out instructions. Aiden and I were the last people to walk back. He puts me down and we walk hand in hand. "We need to talk Faye...about what just happened."

"Let's clean up first before talking. Is that okay with you?" He agrees and we walk with a little distance parting the both of us. My secret was finally out. There was no turning back now.

After the much refreshing shower, my eyes meet his and I perched down beside him, leaving some gap between us. "Why didn't you tell me?" His voice filled with anger and distress. "I couldn't. I didn't have the guts to do some and I was fearful of the outcome.
