Chapter 47- I Am Only Yours

"Thank you for capturing this prisoner for us." He thanks me while I handover the prisoner who happens to be a lady. She has been kidnapping children from different packs, making mothers all over the world anxious. I handed all the children to the royal family to identify and to send them back to where they belong. It has been more than a year since I have been traveling to provide aid for people from around the world. I experienced many devastating moments as well as happy ones.

I turn around to take my leave. I think about my home and appear at the castle's entrance. My lips curved into a smile. I walk towards the entrance. As I was about to enter, the guard stops me. "Ma'am we need your ID." With that, I remove my cap and let my hair flow freely. "Do you still need my ID now?" He bows and removes his hand, I enter. I breathe in the familiar smell of home.

Everyone who walks past me bows their head before walking away. I stop when I see a portrait of me hanging at the corridor, leading to the stairs. It stated 'Queen Alexis'. My fingers lightly touch the title. I am a Queen. The Queen of Werewolves. The first White Wolf to ever join the royal family. I was making history.

I step back and smile at the portrait before walking to the stairs. I climb the many stairs that lead to the gathering room. I heard my family is there. Many emotions overwhelmed me. What would they think of me coming back after all these years? I was anxious yet thrilled to meet my family.

I see a few assistants standing outside the door of the gathering room. I take a deep breath. My feet finds its way towards the room. The assistants greet me and I place a finger, signaling for them to keep quiet. They step away from the door, allowing me to pass through. "My family is in here right?" One of the assistants named Riley ,as shown by her pin, nodded. I thank her. I grab onto the doorknob and knock. "Come in." A familiar voice announced. With a second of hesitation, I enter.

The moment I step foot into the room, gasps were heard. I look up and meet everyone's eyes. The first to engulf me in a hug was Elena. "I am so glad you came back." I hug her back. "I am too." Next was Leo. "It's nice to see you well." His hands ruffle through my hair. I slap his hand away and neaten my hair.

I see my dad crouching down, his head in his hand. He was crying. I kneel in front of him and gently wrap his hands around mine. "I am home Dad." He lets go of my hands and wrap them around me. "I missed you so much Ally. I thought I lost you too." I hug my Dad back and rest my head on his shoulder. "I have missed you too, Dad. I love you so much." We spend a few minutes staying in the same position.

Soon, I release my hold from him and hug everybody else. I look around once again to realize that the person I missed the most was not in attendance. "Where is Aiden?" My family gave each other a guilty look in which I didn't catch on. "He's at his office." Without thinking too much, I run out of the room and impatiently climb the stairs. I burst the door open and capture the very blue eyes I fell in love with. He drops his pen on the table and his eyes widen. Tears started flowing from his eyes. It made me tear up a little.

We both run to each other and grasp onto each other. I sob softly into his chest while he buries his face into my neck, inhaling my scent. "I missed you so much Ally." I nod. "I missed you too Aiden." Our heads parted and now we were staring into each other's eyes. I wrap my hand around his neck. I lean in and press my lips to his.

The kiss started off slowly, our lips moving in synchronization. Our heads tilted a little. His hands pull me closer and there was no distance in between us. He presses one last kiss on my neck before carrying me in his arms. "You got lighter." I blush a little. "It's because I moved around so much." He lightly grasps the necklace around my neck which was given by the Moon Goddess.

"Where did this necklace come from?" I hold his hand. "It's a long story." I lean into his shoulders, inhaling his scent to calm my wolf down. I would admit that the past year hasn't been the easiest, especially for Fiestar. Without the touch of her mate, she felt empty and void of any trace of happiness. Now that we are back home, she felt happier and comfortable.

I feel the soft mattress beneath me. I watch as he slowly removes his clothes and I do the same. It was only the beginning of our reunion.

My head lies on his chest while my fingers trace his abs. "I have my limits, Alexis." He says in a dark, deep voice. His wolf was feeling this. "I know and I am willing to push it further." He grumbles in frustration. "Tell me."

I hum as a reply. "Tell me what happened to you for the past two years." I think about the many things that have happened. "For a starter, the day I disappeared, I was attacked by unknown creatures and they were powerful. They appeared in thin air and tortured me but as they made their final attack to kill me, I vanished. I "woke up" in a place so magical and peaceful. There I met the Moon Goddess. She gave me this necklace to provide aid whenever I needed help. I just have to press on the button inside the locket and someone will be alerted.

I also learned about the world and my powers. I can teleport to anywhere. Isn't that cool?" I look up to Aiden, he smiles and nods. "I only stayed with the Moon Goddess for about a month but it turns out it was about a year once I descend back to the real world. I appeared near here and took my stuff before leaving. I lost the bag about a month ago due to unforeseen circumstances but it's fine because there was nothing important inside that bag.

After I descended, I make my trip around the world. It was fun but I always felt lonely and empty. Sometimes, I wanted to give up but I kept reassuring myself that once I finish all the tasks assigned to me. I can come back home to you and our family. I did. I finished every single task and return back home safely."

"I am pleased that you are safe, my love." He caresses my hair. I have missed his touch. It's been too long. "I have one question to ask you."

"What is it?"

"Why were you not with our families in the gathering room?"

"After you disappeared, I haven't been myself since then. I lost my temper from time to time. Especially the first few months of losing you, I was losing myself too. I wasn't a good father to Audrey. She always asked about you but instead of comforting her, I lashed out on her. I would get scolded by my parents for acting irrationally and that I should consider Audrey's feelings. She too lost someone she cherished. Her mother. I rarely joined family dinner and events. I stayed away from everyone and shut myself out.

Whenever someone brings up about you, my wolf would lose control and I would instantly shift. I stayed in my office most of time. Whenever I tried to sleep, I couldn't. I will have to tire myself out first and then I could sleep. I would visit your room occasionally to inhale your scent in an attempt to comfort myself. I never stopped looking for you and hoping that someday, I will see you again. One day where I will have my significant other by my side. I envied any couple I saw. Every second, minute and hour, I never stopped thinking about you. That shows how much I missed you and how I am inevitably in love with you, my love. Don't ever leave me again please."

"I will never leave you again. It will break my heart if I do." I kiss his neck as a way to seal my promise. I will never leave him again. Not now, not tomorrow and never in a hundred years. I belong to him and only him.

Our lips meet and we kiss passionately. This was going to be a long night...
