"Leave me alone!!" I screamed.
"Don't talk back to me!" He yelled, swinging his hand back ready to hit me. I ducked just in time and ran.
"Get back here you!" He screamed.
Oof. I fell back and looked up. Not now. Oh great. I ran right into Jeremy. Jeremy is my older brother. He's in 10th grade and he biggest bully in high school.
"Where do you think you're going loser?" He said.
"Get out of my way!" I yelled trying to push him. He held me back. Here come the footsteps. Oh no. I ducked under his arms and took off as fast as I could.
"Get back here!!" They both yelled running after me.
I just need to get to my room and they can't hurt me. I sped up the pace a bit. Slam! I finally made it. I locked the door and flopped down on my bed out of breath. Ugh. I can't deal with this every day. I've been dealing with this for too long. I give up.
That's how it started. That's when I decided it's time. I'm going to run away. My family wouldn't care anyways. My family just abuses me and school isn't any better. I just get beat up and bullied there. So I'm going somewhere. I'm not sure where yet but I have to get out of here.
My bag is packed and I'm leaving as soon as my parents and brother go to bed.
I was just adding my journal to my bag when my brother stopped in. "Whatcha got there chubby? Is that your diary?" He said, snatching the book out of my hands. "Get out of here Jeremy!" I yelled, grabbing the book. "It's just a notebook for school." I said then put the journal in my bag and pushed past him and out the door, still unsure of where I was going.
