"Wow Jesse, I'm so sorry."
"......"
"Well don't worry. That'll never happen again. If things go wrong at home I'll always be here for you."
"Thanks Linds, it really means a lot."
"Now why don't you get some rest. I'll take lookout."
"You sure...?"
"Yes Jessie I'm sure. Go get some sleep."
"K.... Good night"
"Night!"Lindsey's pov:
It was about 8:00 in the morning and Sunday school was starting shortly. I had just finished my makeup and was getting ready to walk out the door when Jesse called. Jesse was my very best friend. We've been friends since first grade when we both moved to southwest elementary. Jesse's family moved a lot but then ended up back at southwest in the end thankfully. I was thought Jesse was the sweetest thing. He was smart and funny and he was really nice too. But anyways,
Sunday morning he called me. He told me he had run away late last night. I couldn't believe it. I told him it was crazy and he should go back but he wouldn't listen. I also told him he could stay at my place but he refused. He said it was too obvious. Sunday school was starting in a minute or so, so I told him I'd call him back later.
When I called him I asked if he wanted to meet the park and so we did. We always met at the park. It was just convenient for both of us and we both loved outdoors so it became our meeting place.AT THE PARK
"Wow. I cannot believe you actually ran away Jess. I wish I could." I said.
"You can. You could come with me!" Jesse responded.
"You know I can't do that. I have to take care of Malory!...."
"Right... Well maybe....."
"Maybe what?"
"Eh you'll think it's crazy."
"Come on Jess! Just tell me!!" I begged.
"Fine. Well I was thinking maybe we could.... Take her with us?"
"But my parents. They'd notice me taking her out with me."
"Well then maybe we'll just have to come up with a plan so they won't see.."
"Well wanna get some coffee and think about it?" I offered.
"Sure lets go!"
So off we headed to Starbucks.
"Two strawberries and cream frappuccinos please."
"Coming right up!""So do you have any ideas?" I asked.
"Actually..... Yes." Jesse replied.
"Really? What is it?" I asked excitedly.
Jess explained his idea to right them a fake letter to get them out of the house. I thought It was a god idea so we began writing the letter. We told them they won a free trip and were leaving soon. Our plan was to leave with Malory right after they left so that way we could be far away by the time they got back. But things didn't go exactly as planned.......
