Yesterday was horrible, officially. The fight between Rachel and Fred had really got to her. So far, he was one of her best friends. She didn't have many and so she treasured those she did have. So to lose one, over a silly fight like that had really bothered her. Rachel couldn't believe such mean words would come from Fred's mouth. She realised she was a fool for thinking he had a crush on her. Fred had said it himself. Why would he be jealous of Oliver?

It was a chillier day today, the skies were grey and there was a storm in the air. Rachel was stood in the changing rooms of the Quidditch pitch, lacing her boots up before following the other girls to the boys changing rooms. In here, they were having a prep talk ready for the big game tomorrow. The chairs had been used to make a small circle around a blackboard which had the Quidditch pitch drawn on it. Rachel had sat next to Harry and fiddled with her robes, Fred was sat opposite her and was staring.

Since the fight he had been doing it, trying to get her attention. Hermione had told Rachel to ignore it but it was proving difficult to do so. She was torn between yelling at him or trying to make up with him. Instead, she focused on what Oliver was saying.

It seemed to be working, as Oliver taught tactics and came up with some little ideas to practise with. Eventually, they all headed outside to the bleak weather, the clouds were becoming darker, a hint that a storm would be brewing. Rachel rubbed her forehead, the weather was giving her a headache. She sighed. It probably didn't help that the dementors still lurked the grounds.

Regardless of how she felt, Rachel mounted her broom along with the others and took to the skies. The noises of people droned out as she hovered in silence in the air. People flew around her frantically, doing whatever training Oliver told them to do. In front of her, Rachel could see Harry shouting but she could hear no noise. She suddenly felt really faint. She turned to the side and watched a bludger fly into my stomach knocking her off the broom.

That's when the sound came back. People shouted Rachel's name, as she fell closer to the ground. She braced herself for impact but instead she landed on a broom. Rachel grabbed hold of whoever it was and clung on as they flew to the ground. It was Fred. They hit the ground and Rachel jumped off quickly. He tried to say something to Rachel but she was suddenly swarmed by her fellow teammates.

"Oh my god, are you okay?" Oliver ran over, he put his hand against her forehead. Fred scoffed and walked away from the pitch, his brother awkwardly running after him.

Rachel looked at Oliver and her other teammates who had quickly followed Oliver's path. They all looked worried.

"I'm fine! Honestly, just felt a bit funny and wasn't concentrating. I think it was the dementors." Rachel quickly gushed.

Oliver nodded and stepped back, turning to the crowd to calm them down. Harry pushed through and ran to Rachel.

"What the bloody hell happened?"

"Honestly... I don't know, I just don't feel right. I think I'm going to go back to the common room for an early night."

"Well, I have homework and I need the library so I'm heading there in a minute. Ron has homework too and I assume Hermione will tag with us so it will be pretty quiet in there. Unless you want me to come with you?" He asked me.

Rachel shook her head. "Go be a good boy and do your homework."

Rachel proceeded to tell Oliver her plans, he nodded and agreed, saying it would be best as the had a match tomorrow. She left the Quidditch pitch in hurry. She thought, while she would be in the common room, that she would try to speak to Fred. Perhaps it would make her feel better. As she ran through the doors, Rachel bumped into someone. Before she could fall they grabbed her by the arm. She looked up and saw Malfoy with a shocked and scornful face.
