"Congrats, Rach!" Harry called shouted at her, he was joined by Ron and Hermione.
"Yeah well done, Rach, not many people can get a quaffle behind Oliver!" Ron butted in.
"I can see why! He's one of the best... if not the best, keeper I've ever seen!" Rachel said back, she was holding onto her broom tightly with excitement.
"Well, we have our team now," Oliver shouted bringing everyone over, "and I can say it is a really strong team! Now our first match is against Hufflepuff, which will be a mere warm up session to us. However, they have Cedric Diggory, who will obviously be seeker and as we know, he's pretty good."
"Pretty face too!" A girl whispered next to Rachel which made her giggle.
Rachel looked up at Oliver, who was egging everyone on, encouraging them to be their best. He really did have a passion for Quidditch, he wanted the new team to be training two nights a week, three hours per session, just to ensure they stayed on top. With that, Oliver then dismissed the team and they all went their separate ways.
The four had decided they would go to the common room to prepare for the next day, but Rachel had barely gotten out of the changing rooms when Oliver stopped her.
"Rachel, again, well done for today."
"Thank you, means a lot to be on the team!" Rachel replied.
"Well, you're really good but you're going to have to get robes that have 'Lupin' on the back for the match." He said, crossing his arms.
"Of course, I'll get them as soon as possible." Rachel quickly nodded, he laughed slightly.
"Um, do you mind if you help me put away the Quidditch balls, they can be a right pain in the arse on your own?" Oliver asked, he was already outside before Rachel could reply. He let out a small groan as he looked down at the box.
"What's wrong?" Rachel was now stood next to him.
"The golden snitch is... somewhere." Oliver replied, waving his hand at the sky.
"Oh, I'll go look for it." Rachel said before grabbing a broom and taking off. The wind swept the hair off her face as she scanned the surrounding area. She heard a flutter by her ear and instantly her hand snapped at it, her fingers clutching whatever had been next to me. Rachel opened her hand to see the golden snitch, she then held it up so Oliver could see and he laughed whilst clapping.
"That was quick." He breathed, his hands resting on his hips.
"Well, I guess I have quick reflexes." Rachel laughed.
"I reckon you should have tried for seeker, how come you didn't step forward? Harry would have had some competition had you done so." Oliver questioned.
"It's not my thing," Rachel shrugged, "Harry's brilliant from what I hear and I just prefer being a chaser!"
"Well, you're certainly good at being a chaser that's for sure." He smiled softly back at her. He walked over to the quaffle and picked it up, throwing it to Rachel, who caught it with ease. She then placed it back into the trunk, along with the snitch.
"Quaffle's, tick!" She childishly said drawing a tick in the air.
"Yes, quaffle's tick." Oliver smirked, copying her move.
Eventually all the balls had been put away into the trunk, Oliver shut the lid and quickly locked it. He brushed his hands together as he stood up.
"Do you need a hand carrying this in?" Rachel asked, after all the trunk was ever so heavy. Even for someone like Oliver.
"Oh, yes please, if you don't mind." Oliver seemed grateful for the help and soon the box was away in storage.
