When class ended everyone rushed out dying to go to their last lesson of the day.

"Herbiology next." Harry huffed.

"Oh yay." Ron fake cheered.

"Come on, it's the last lesson of the day!" Hermione chortled.

"Which is why it will feel like forever." Ron mumbled.

The Gryffindor's and Slytherin's shared Herbiology together, so they all trudged to classroom 102 for a non practical lesson.

"Hello Neville!" Rachel greeted as she slid onto the bench next to her partner.

"Hello." He smiled.

"Have a good Christmas?" She asked as she analysed the board to see what they were doing.

"Yeah it wasn't too bad. How was yours?"

"Amazing thank you." She grinned.

"Right class, we are having a new seating plan." Professor Sprout called out. The class groaned.

She began to call out names and arranged the pupils around, houses were sometimes mixed and sometimes they weren't.

"Neville and... Dean." Sprout called reading from her clipboard.

"Lucky." Rachel whispered to him as he hurried off to sit next to Dean.

"Rachel and Kayla."

"Who?" Rachel asked.

Professor Sprout ignored Rachel's comment and continued to read from the list.

Rachel huffed and moved to her new seat and waited for this Kayla to sit down. Suddenly a Slytherin girl came and sat down in the spare seat.

"Guessing you're Kayla." Rachel mumbled.

"Guessing you're Rachel." She shot back. She was the other new student who had joined after Christmas along with Aspen. There was something about Kayla that made Rachel think she knew her. She couldn't think where but she was certain she had met her.

Kayla had dark brown hair that was ombréd to a golden colour. Her eyes were hazel and her Slytherin robes were rather messy like Rachel's. There was a little twinkle in Kayla's eyes that made Rachel question if something was on her face; seeing as a smirk was playing on Kayla's face.

"Are you any good at Herbiology?" Rachel asked Kayla trying to make conversation and distract her from whatever was making her smirk. "Because I'm crap."

"Gardening isn't really my thing." Kayla nodded.

"So you're new then hey?"

"Yeah just got here. This ain't a bad school really." Kayla admitted.

"No it's not. I went to Beauxbatons before here and it was a pisstake. All the girls are right pansy's and don't get me started on the boys. Pretty faces, pretty pathetic." Rachel scoffed remembering the stuck up people she went to school with. Kayla fidgeted in her seat slightly.

"You went to Beauxbatons?" She slowly said.

"Yeah... why?" Rachel unsurely laughed.

"I went to Beauxbatons."

"Really?" Rachel gasped. "That's quite funny actually I had a friend called Kayla Dona-"

Kayla nodded vigorously with a big smile.

"Holy Jesus!" Rachel yelled. "Oh my gosh Kayla you look so different, I barely recognised you!"

Rachel and Kayla Donavon had been great friends in Beauxbatons. Mainly due to the fact they hated the uptightness of the other students.
