News broke that Sebastian Stan and Margarita Levieva called it quits on August 12, 2018. TMZ first reported the couple, who got married on March 10, 2018, had broken up after just five months. Now, less than a week later, Stan has reportedly filed for divorce in New York and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason, according to our source.
It's still unclear why the couple split up, but they have since unfollowed each other on Instagram, Levieva deleted all photos of Stan from her feed, deleted the word "wife" from her bio, and dropped her married name.
But after many speculated, Levieva finally made a public appearance and opened up the reason why they decided to end their marriage to clear things up. "Sebastian's an amazing man, he won't hurt me even after what I did all this time. I'm the one to blame in this situation so, please stop sending him hates or death threats. I made a very big mistake for saying he was the father of my daughter, when in fact he was not. I'm deeply sorry to anyone that I've hurt because of this falsehood." Margarita stated with teary eyes.
