I began crying and I went to hung Nicholas. He hugged me back. "Where have you been?" I tried to say through my mumbles of cries. "I've been fighting a war" he said with sadness in his voice. "Nicholas your.. the castle.."
"I know Olivia." He said. He pushed me back, "I planned it all."
"W-what?" I said. He wiped some tears off of my cheeks. He led me over to what looked like a camp that someone had stayed in. He sat me down and tried to pull me closer. I pushed him away, "tell me what you mean." I said.
He sighed and looked away. "Do you want me to start from the beginning?"
"Yes"
He nodded, "When you first arrived I was reluctant to marry you. Mainly because of who you are."
"What do you mean?"
"Well Olivia you aren't just a human. I know father gave you this bullshit story because it would make you feel better or whatever. But it isn't true. You are the only half blooded vampire. You weren't adopted, you were stolen. Stolen from your parents to keep safe and to raise. You mother was human. Your father was a vampire. Your mother is the only woman in history who has been able to carry a vampire and for the child to live. Unfortunately, other vampires wanted to kill you. They almost did. If it wasn't for my fathers sister."
I sat back shocked. "You are the key to the revolution. Because you survived and because you were able to be changed into a full blooded vampire."
"When you arrived I was just going to use you. But then... I fell in love with you. When you saw me in the pub I was making plans. Plans to kill my father."
"Why..why?" I said.
"Because we disagree. My father wants to keep our kind a secret. He wants to stop us from the revolution. We are strong enough to take over society. To become part of the world and not just some hidden secret. So I went off to meet up with the rebels."
"So you joined the people who tried to kill me? And trap me in a room?!" I said screaming at him
"No. They weren't the ones who tried to kill you. See you were a tool for my father. He was going to use you for testing and keep you human. He wanted to hide you forever. He wanted to torture you with devices and to eventually kill you. His plans for you wasn't good Olivia. The rebels want to build a society that we can live in without hiding. We don't know who tried to poison you. We suggest it might be my father. I had the men put you, Kaitlin, and Gavin in the room to keep you safe. So my father couldn't get to you. Or his side. I made sure they kept bringing blood to you guys. But somehow we lost connection. We stopped hearing from the guards. I rushed up here and that's when I saw you two."
"Nicholas?"
"What?" He looked at me with troubled eyes.
"Gavin isn't with us.."
"What?"
"He isn't with us."
"That can't be, that's how we have been keeping in contact.." he got up and began pacing. That must be... that must be why.. why we haven't heard anything...father must be still alive." Nicholas grabbed me and carried me over to the  camp of men. He sat me down and there were thousands upon thousands of men. The camp was huge.
Nicholas pulled me toward the huge tent, as we walked inside Kaitlin was sitting there smiling. She had a cup of blood in her hand. I ran over to her and hugged her and she hugged me. Nicholas was gone and came back with a cup of blood for me. He walked into another small room and two guards stood in front of the doorway.
I stole this time to explain to Kaitlin what had happened. "That would explain a lot." She said. "What do you mean?"
"Gavin acted funny. He always would stand by your door. He would walked down the hall by your door all the time."
"You know one night I was asleep and I saw a figure standing over me. Then were gone before I knew it. When I called the guards in they didn't know who it could be cause they had kept posted at my door."
"It would make sense if it was him. He was the only one who could enter in your room without the guards announcing it to you."
"That does make sense."
Nicholas came out of the room and sat next to us. "You are gonna stay here with Kaitlin. We had a plan to take over the castle in a month. But because of the situation. It's going to be best to do it in atleast 2 weeks."
"Will we both be safe here?"  Kaitlin looked worried.
"Yes." I grabbed my stomach starting to worry too.
"Prince Nicholas, we need to get Olivia a doctor."
"I'm in the process of working on that" he said smiling. He put his hand on my belly. "Did you know?" I asked him.
"Not until I held you." I frowned. "So it must of been a shock?"
"I mean I wasn't expecting it, but it made the need to protect you stronger" he said smiling.
"Not even the guards told you?" Asked Kaitlin.
"I lost connection shortly after you guys were moved. I assume it wasn't a worry at the time."
"I'm pretty sure at this point that the other side must of known and... worse planned to interfere by killing us" Kaitlin mumbled to herself.
"I'm sure of it" Nicholas said.
We all sat there continuing to let our thoughts overcome us.
Finally I grabbed nicholas and looked at him. He picked me up and carried me to a tent. He sat me down and we began to kiss. "I missed you so much. I wish you would have told me."
"It was hard... my mind wasn't set until I kissed you that first time, then I went to talk to my father. I knew I had to go and protect you. And now I have a baby to protect." He touched my belly. I kissed him and he kissed me back. Making the night even better.
