Anaís grabbed her school bag and her purse off the bed and placed it on before she slipped her feet into her crisp white Air Forces. She grabbed her charger and phone from the nightstand and then proceeded to walk out the room.

Jordyn was standing by the door with aumurie and aurora who were going to preschool. They had their little cute matching book bags with their name embroidered on the straps and their matching outfits. The only difference was that aumurie had a single puff and aurora had two puffs thanks to avori who knew how to slay the hell out of a childs hair.

"Anaís look, I shoes light up." Aumurie shouted as she started stomping her feet making her shoes light up with many different colors. Anaís gasped.

"Oh they do? Aurora do yours light up too?" Anaís kneled before the two with a smile. She had grown attached to the twins and they were like little sisters to her. Aurora stomped her feet as well and nodded her head when she saw the lights flicker on her shoes.

"Alright come on pea bodies." Avori said while walking into the open concept living room, dining, and kitchen area.

"Where the rest of your clothes." Avori asked as he put anaís in a head lock messing up her hair. Anaís laughed and tried to free herself but avori had a tight grip.

"Avori stop you're messing up my hair." Anaís managed to punch him in his stomach making avori lose his grip.

"Go get a jacket." Avori demanded.

"It's one in my locker avori. It's still hot, it hasn't even hit October yet." Anaís complained while fixing her hair using the giant mirror by the door.

"Mhm. Ion need no little boys staring at your stomach. I might have to come beat a nigga ass." Avori ranted.

"Oh daddy say baaadd worwd." Aurora tugged at her mother's pants.

"Alright let's go." Jordyn opened the door and grabbed both her daughters hands. Anaís followed them out with avori behind her locking up the apartment. They all headed down the hall and got on the elevator. Jordyn pressed the garage button and the doors slid closed.

When they got down to the garage they easily found Jordyn's car because she always parked in the same parking space. She might as well have her name in that space. Avori helped Jordyn get in the passengers seat while anaís made sure that the girls got in their car seats correctly. She then climbed in the backseat on the passengers side and secured herself with the seat belt. Her phone vibrated in her hand and she checked it to see a text from cartier.

Again the butterflies returned and she couldn't help the small smile that came across her face. She also didn't know that avori was looking at her through the mirror in the front.

"Why you smiling so hard? Better not be no boy, I said you couldn't have a boyfriend until you were thirty." Avori messed with anaís. He saw anaís as a little sister, the moment he had met her, he took her under his wing. Jordyn cracked up in the from seat while anaís stale faced him.
