Luke's P.O.V
Marco and I were at the funeral with Sarah. Marco was nervous constantly looking over his shoulder. I held his hand but had walked away when the others started to arrive. Marco was being held by Sarah still looking over his shoulder. His mother's casket was a beautiful shade of brown that shined. There were flowers in her hands and everyone was holding some purple flower. Marco was holding a purple and white flower as well as a man in front of me. Two huge men were beside him. They weren't holding anything but they had their heads down as a sign of respect.
After everyone had said some nice words and the flowers were placed on the casket everyone went inside of the church and talked and ate food. I was in search of Marco and Sarah who were both sitting at a table.
"It's like he was watching me the whole time. I could feel his eyes."
"Who's eyes?" I said sitting in one of the empty seats closest to Marco.
"No ones," he said quickly.
"I'm a no one am I," a raspy voice said from behind Marco.
"Get away from him,": Sarah said in the deepest most commanding voice.
"Ah you're the nurse. The one who volunteered to testify. How brave of you. You're a better mother to him than my wife was," he said smiling.
"What?" I asked Marco.
He stood up and turned around facing the man with an angry look, "You can't say shit."
"Oh how rude-"
"You were worse than she was. She was amazing no matter how much you drugged her. You did this to her-"
"She did this to herself. I just gave her the bottle."
"She would still be alive if you hadn't given it to her."
"Shut up. They're charging me with abuse not murder and I'd like to keep it that way," the man said. He laughed and took one step closer to Marco.
"It's your fault. If you hadn't killed him nothing bad would have ever happened and you...would be fixed."
"You're the jackass that beat him?" I said finally.
"Excuse me."
"You beat him."
"I did nothing of a sort. I feel I should let you know that this boy loves his lies," he said. I snapped and punched him. I hadn't even realized that I was that close to him.
"Well shit," Sarah said.
*Time Skip*
Marco and I were at Sarah's house on the couch watching some movie. He was laying on my lap and I was combing my fingers through his hair. As the movie went through the credits I changed the movie.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Marco said getting up and switching it back.
"What do you-"
"Please, don't tell me you don't know what MARVEL is?"
"I do I just haven't seen any of the movies."
"The credits are the most important part. You have to wait till the end to know what could happen next."
"Oh."
"Now shut up an let me watch the actual end of the movie," he said laying back down on my lap. I laughed a little, but stopped when Marco hit my stomach with his elbow. The credit rolled and I found out that he wasn't lying. I also found out that they left you on the worst cliffhanger. Ever.
"Is it done now?" I whispered.
"Yes. It's done for now."
"Good," I said pulling up and pushing him down onto the floor. I got on top of him and started to tickle him. His worst spot was the one on his thigh but I had to watch his cuts. He tapped my wrist and I stopped leaving my hands on his thighs.
"Why do you always do this to me?"
"'Cause it's fun," I said kissing his nose.
"Can't we call a truce. I'll never hit you again if you never tickle me again."
"How about we agree to only do it on special occasions."
"Fine, but today isn't one of those days."
"Fine."
"Can you get off?"
"No."
"Why?"
"We need to talk and I don't want you to get mad or anything."
"I think it would be easier if you got up," he said struggling to move with my body on top of him.
"Okay but you can't get mad," I said in the slowest way possible.
"Whatever just off. I can't breathe right with you on my."
"I don't weigh-"
"Get off," he said in a voice that was kind of a turn on. It was soft but commanding. He could be a bottom. So I got off of him.
"What did you want to talk about?" he asked while sitting next to me on the couch.
"I wanted talk about when you come back to school," I started. He nodded and I continued, "I don't think it's safe for me to come out. With my family. They can be really weird about stuff sometimes and I can't-"
"It's okay."
"What?"
"It's okay."
"Really," he can't be serious.
"Yeah. I don't want to risk anything that happened to me to happen to you. I like you and I won't risk you getting hurt for me."
"It's not b-"
"It's okay. I can wait."
"So, deal."
"Yes, Luke."
"Thank you."

RandomI looked down at the edge and felt all the air around me move. I tilted my head back and closed my eyes. "Marco, don't do this!" he paused. I brought my head up a bit, "please don't," he finished as I looked at him deciding. He had tears in his eyes...
