Luke and Lacy were currently fighting about who got to take me home. Lacy said she should take me home because she had an extra room and Luke's parents weren't home today and they wouldn't be home tomorrow. Luke made a valid point that Lacy lived with Cole, and even if he didn't have an extra bedroom to spare I could always sleep in his bed while he sleeps on the couch.

"Why can't I just go home?" I said acknowledging my own presence.

"They're at your house," Luke said looking at me. Lacy saw.

"I guess you're right, Cole could beat him up," she said with a sigh.

"Wait, say that again," Luke said putting his hand to his ear.

"Cole could-"

"No not that part."

"Oh, I'm not saying that again," I laughed at the way she shook her head. She looked at me as if I had three head then looked at Luke.

"He laughs," he said simply. I sat there in my wheelchair while they talked with Sarah and Mark. After that Luke picked me up and set me in his car. I buckled myself in as he went around, got in, and started the car. Lacy waved goodbye as we drove away and Mark did the same.

It had been about half an hour until Luke said we were almost at his house. When we got there Lacy had been right; we were the only ones there. I didn't mind being in a huge house alone with Luke, but I didn't like it either.

He walked me to his room which was huge like the rest of the house. He had a queen-sized bed, a computer, a TV, a bookshelf, and a door to his own bathroom. His walls were painted dark blue and his blankets were the same. His floor and pillow are black along with his wooden dresser.

"Make yourself at home," he said going to sit on a small couch that sat in the corner. I went to sit on his bed when his phone dinged.

"You hungry?" he asked. I shook my head 'no' and continued to admire his room. I laid back on his bed careful not to mess the sheets up and closed my eyes. I felt the bed sink but kept my eyes closed. I felt the bed move with Luke, as he was the only person in the room until finally he pulled me further up on the bed and laid next to me. His arms wrapped around me as I slowly started to fall asleep. His warmth keeping me comfy, and his breathing told me he was there.
