~Allison's POV~

It's been a few days since the rogues attacked. The Rymell has completely left my system and I am no longer cold, especially in this hot summer. The pack has moved back into our packhouse, only with the promise that we will have guards stationed around the territory, instead of just the house, and video cameras placed in trees, here and there.

There is still no word from Alpha Brad. Dylan and Luna Maria say that since they took him out of our territory, we cannot mindlink with him, preventing us from knowing his location. Dylan, Max, Carson and my brother, as well as a team of other Weres set out this morning on a search party, hoping to catch Brad's scent. They crossed into other pack territory, which for the record, I didn't know there was. Obviously I should have assumed that there was more than just our pack, the Night Pack, but there are many within hours drive all around us, as well.

Apparently, our pack has an alliance with our neighboring pack, the Moonshine Pack, and their members are helping to find Brad. They have had some serious problems with the rogues in the past, and are doing everything they can to help us out.

The packhouse looks great, new furniture in every room, but with the rebuild there are less rooms, which leaves me to share a room once again with the Lerner sisters. We could either have our own rooms, and force the younger ones to occupy five or six kids in one room, or share between the three of us, letting the kids have more space. The answer was obvious to one of the Lerner sisters, Emily and I both voted for sharing. Hilary, on the other hand, was not so ready to give up her precious space. In the end, the majority, being Emily and I, out ruled Hilary who now occupies the top bunk of the gigantic bunk bed in the corner that she shares with her sister. I can't help but smirk whenever I catch her eyeing my bed, knowing she wants to trade places. Yeah right, like that's going to happen.

I feel a finger poke my cheek, bringing me out of my current trance. "Wonderland."

I glance over at my blonde haired best friend who is laying on my bed with me, side by side, "Yes, Ash?"

"I'm worried about Carson," he whispers, biting his lip. I sit up slightly, noticing Emily and Hilary who have left, leaving us alone.

"I'm worried about Dylan, too." I mumble. I spare a glance to Ash and see him smirking back at me. Before I can question his look, he explains himself.

"I knew it!" He yells before standing on his knees, jumping on my bed.

I raise an eyebrow, "Knew what, exactly?"

"God, Wonderland, sometimes you're so dense." He states, causing me to make a fist and punch him in the chest. He lands on his back on my bed with a loud thump. "You're so violent!"

"How did you know I was worried about Dylan?"

Ash flips his hand in the air, dismissively. "You're mates, of course you're going to think about him."

I roll my eyes, "I hate that word."

"So you've said," Ash says, "but you still can't fight it. It's the bon-"

I interrupt him, impersonating him by making my voice lower, "It's the bond."

Ash and I both break out into laughter, making my cheeks burn.

"T-that was the worst impression I've ever h-heard!" Ash exclaims. I hit his arm, putting a stop to his laughing. "Seriously though, it is the bond. You can't fight it! You keep going on and on about how you feel like the bond forces him to like you-but that's not true! Even if there wasn't a bond there, you would still feel attracted to each other! It's just how this all works, the ancestors arranged this years and years ago."
