I'm back from work, and I'm already panicking to get ready for a date. No time to curl my thicc hair, no time to do my 100 layers of makeup, just dress up and be natural I guess.
I grabbed my slightly oversized off-shoulder top with a baby blue color, and I wore some slightly skinny denim jeans, again pairing it with my dirty 1 year old converse shoes.
I brushed my hair to remove some annoying tangles that I get from basically everything, and I wore a nude matte lipstick because I have chapped lips. For lipstick, I don't really think that I'm cheating on a no makeup look with just some lipstick so I'm alright.
I grabbed my favorite cartoon backpack and stuffed my things inside it. I heard the ding downstairs so I took one last look at the mirror and left my safe haven.
"I thought we agreed on no makeup?..." He says immediately as I open the door, I'm thoroughly tempted to close the door again.
"It's just lipstick, I have cracked lips anyway!"
"Eh..." He says with a blank expression. His face looks more healthy rather than yesterday, which seems odd.
He lead me to his car after I locked my front door and had everything I needed. I wonder if he slept well since his skin looks healthier, less sleep deprived you can say.
"Did you sleep well?" I asked him while I was fidgeting with my bag to waste time.
"Yeah, what about it?"
"Nothing... I'm just curious."
He began driving while I'm still clueless on where we're going.
"So, what's the destined location for today, kind sir?" I said with an added glance at him while he plays music from his AUX cord.
"It's a surprise! And I rarely show it to anyone so get excited." He said with a grin on his face, he glances at me back and forth from the road and begins to blush.
"Aha, this better be good Ari Leff."
"No more blue boy? Or do you want mature Ari?"
"Mmm... Anything. I like whatever's going on right now" I said, copying him for what he did yesterday, doing a circular motion with my hands towards him.
"That's my line Y/N, you should know this by now." He said with a few laughs at the end, I can't keep my eyes off of him. My heart is pumping really hard.
"So... Takeout again? Or am I just gonna make you some food? I can whip up something from my mind that you'll probably like." I actually cook a bit, not so much as to consider myself a master, but good enough to make some good food.
"Show off your cooking skills for me and I'll consider having another movie night with you."
"You'll consider? Rude, never mind then." I said in a sarcastic tone as I rub my eyes.
"You tired?"
"Yeah, my client was too bossy and made me basically a slave."
"Wait, before I beat the HECK out of this client of yours, what's your job anyway? I didn't get to ask you."
"First of all, I don't promote violence, since I'm all about that peace, and secondly, I work on architectural designs."
"Wow, you really are a responsible woman, my feelings have just increased by 10%"
"Wow, you really are looking like a flirt right now, my feelings have just decreased by 10% because of your cheesy line."
"It was cheesy, I'll be honest about that."
"It still sounded cute though... my feelings have just increased by 5%"
"I'm very flattered Y/N." He says with a chuckle at the end, I could feel a smile creep onto my face just because of this moment. A silence fills the car, only to be fulfilled by music. I love this, I've always wanted to have silence where it isn't awkward, a silence that's just fulfilling and sweet. I love this. Thanks Ari, I guess.

Ari starts parking at the front of this small place beside a huge building.
'Where are we?"
"My studio."
"Oh my God."
We walked over to the front door following the same pace. He unlocked the front door only to reveal a small apartment-esque room. He opened the lights and it made everything light up.
"Follow me." he says as he motions with his hand, he's so much more excited than when we were arriving here.
"Since you are a very, very, special lovely woman, you deserve the best of the best from the Lauv Show."
"Oh my god, is this where you did the video where you explained how you made i like me better?"
"Yes, please don't bring back memories of the part where I did the ever so luscious damn."
He started fixing his set-up so I decided to help him. After a few minutes of plugging everything together, I got some drinks for both of us as he booted everything up. I returned to see him in a dim lighted area, with blue lighting on the side of his piano and computer.
"So? What's the reason you brought me here?" I say with a small smirk on my face as I placed some drinks on the table.
"Well, you're gonna see this place for a long time so I might as well just show it to you already. You're also cool as heck, cool enough that you got a ticket to meet me in my special studio."
"I love everything about this place, seriously. Everything just speaks 'woah' to me. It's literally the perfect mood and I could see you, Ari Leff, sitting in this studio, with some voice memos on your computer trying to make your voice sound okay with several layers."
"Really? Then I could picture you sitting next to me, curating every single thing I do, and I would love it."
"I definitely know I would."
The silence was comfortable, we were just looking at each other as we got nearer and nearer to each other.
He held my hand and he kissed me, in the silence with the dim lights.
"Thank you."
"For what?"
"This moment."
