• "I spent my entire life getting hung up on a person when someone better was just waiting to be discovered."
"Don't worry, I understand. It took me awhile before I realized I could have you instead."
Damn. I love you. •
"Hey." I said back, I came closer to her as I hugged her tight with her arms over my neck. We heard the door close as I felt something wet hit my clothes and I heard her cry.
"I'm sorry. I just really missed you." She said as she looks with her smiling.
"I'm sorry. I'm really just an idiot." I said as I kissed her.
"Can we restart from where it all went wrong?" We both said at the same time, and I realized at that moment... That we both loved each other and that we'd forgive and forget our mistakes and just try again.
"Y/N."
"Ari."
"I love you." We both said as we hugged each other.
After a few moments we let go, I started walking around to find the flowers that I gave her.
"They're... They're upstairs, Ari. Follow me." She said as she tapped my shoulder and she laughed.
"Lead the way, mademoiselle!" I told her as she went sprinting upstairs while I followed behind her.
Once I got upstairs, I saw her standing behind the glowing sun light that was hitting her as she waited for me. I intertwined my hand with hers as she led me to her balcony. There sat the flowers that I gave her. All in a bunch together as she placed it on a table that was at the side of the balcony.
"You made them look beautiful than they already were." I said as I picked up the bouquet and gave it to her.
She lets go of my hand as she steps back and grabs the flowers while I walked back to some metal bars that were stopping us from falling down the balcony and I placed my hands on them. She kisses me while her arms are resting on my shoulders while holding the bouquet.
"I really missed you." She said as her eyes went directly to mine.
"You're so f*cking precious, I love you." I said as I laughed a little.
"I love you too even though you broke my heart." She said as she places down the flowers back on the table.
"Do me a favor Ari."
"Yes babe?"
"Be more family friendly and stop swearing already!" She said as we both laugh and get back inside.
"Oh yeah! I was gonna give this to you but I didn't have the strength to." She said as went inside her bedroom and grabbed the hoodie I left and the one I gave her.
"Keep them. There's no point in getting them when I'll keep coming back anyways."
"Real smooth Ari... Really smooth." She hops on the bed and sits upwards.
"Why are we in your bedroom?"
"You said go back to where it all went wrong, didn't you?" She opens the air conditioning and brushes her hair with her hand. I went over to the bed, removed my shoes and got on. I tickled her on where you'd mostly find tickle spots and she tried covering her body to stop me while we were both just laughing.
I pulled her close as I kissed her and we both sunk onto the sea of blankets. I placed my hand on the back of her head as I left my other hand down her waist.
We both pulled back from the kiss as we just stared into eachother's eyes.
"Thank you for giving me one more chance." I told her as she pulls the covers over our shoulders as she places her hand on my cheek.
"Thank you for wanting to come back."
"Why wouldn't I? I love you so much I can't not come back."
"Will you promise to stay forever?"
"I promise."
"Ari... Can I ask you something again?"
"What is it?"
"What is love to you?"
"Love is keeping promises."
"How about you, what does love mean to you?"
"Love is being with someone even if it hurts just for the sake of being with them."
"I don't wanna make it painful for the both of us anymore." I told her, pulling her close, making my breath hit her.
"I just wanna make both of us be happy."
"It's possible." I wanted her to believe me, I wanted her to know that I love her so much.
"I know it is." We both smile, our eyes close as we get closer.
"Thank you for existing." She says, kissing me once more.
