We got out of the car as we got to the cinemas, without a care in the world on when we get to sleep since it's a Friday. We got in line to watch Love, Simon and it was our turn to get some tickets.
"Oh, I'll pay." He told me as he saw me getting my wallet.
"It's only fair since you paid for our date last time."
"But that was only like, $3?... Just... C'mon let me pay."
"Here you go, sorry that it took us awhile to pay." I told the person behind the ticket stand as she laughs and nods while I handed her the money.
"Enjoy your movie you guys, and by the way, you guys are so cute." She said as Ari held my hand and smiled cheekily with his crooked smile while I just looked down at my feet and curled the ends of my lips slightly.

We went inside the cinemas and bought some snacks while we waited for the movie to start. He took a photo of us and instead of posting it, he just scrolled through my Instagram after I told him what my account was.
I didn't take lots of pictures... Nor selfies. I only had pictures of the places I go to and the effort that I put into my work. I only had a few followers. Majority of them being my friends from in real life after I connected my Facebook account to my Instagram. The other accounts that were following me were just bots either featuring A. Instagram Followers and likes and B. Instagram Comments. I only use Instagram nowadays just for browsing through memes and... Looking at beautiful people's lives wishing that I could be them.
He liked every single photo and commented in every one of them.
"You know you can just talk to me right? I'm right here Ari." I joked as he continued typing anyways even if he was laughing with me.
"Well, I'm just doing this so my messages get engraved in your account."
"Pfft, this better be used as a trophy or a bragging right."
"It's weird how you don't post selfies because you're so pretty but at the same time I don't want anybody else to take you away from me." He says as he laughed with his eyes closed and just generally enjoying himself.
"Oh my God, that sounds so damn embarrassing." I muttered to myself but he heard it.
"Hey! It took me saliva to say all of that, don't disrespect me and my effort."
"Alright, sir."
"Muah." He jokingly blows a kiss as the cinema rolls in their warnings that they paste into every start of a movie.
The movie started and we started eating our popcorn. In a moment, we we're so captivated in the movie and we accidentally touched hands while taking some popcorn. We looked at each other and just smiled and chuckled and continued watching and eating.
