chapter 13

"JENNY!" I screamed holding Amy.

"What's wrong?" She ran in with Amy's file in hand, she saw what we were talking about. "I was going to tell you Mark but we thought it would have healed before she woke up."

"I am Kitty, He did all those things to me." She was crying again.

"Is this why Tammy wanted me out of the room, she didn't want me to see this?" I was trying not to yell.

"Yes, she wrote in the file that it is healing fast. I honestly didn't think it would heal with how deep it was. "

"I AM KITTY."

"NO, you are Amy Nelson. Whatever he had you do is not you." Now I was trying not to cry.

"He did this to me, there was a knock on the door, he knew who it was, He knew he was caught." She shut her eyes. "He was finishing up the Y then he........he hit me."

"That explains why the cut is healing, it was fresh when we got to it."

Amy held her head breathing fast, everything was flooding back to her, I didn't say anything I just held onto her playing with her hair. After a few moments her breathing calmed down, she looked around the room.

"Hospital, I'm safe." She said breathing normal than before. "I'm safe he can't get me." She was almost crying.

"Yes, you are. And over my dead body will he touch you." I said.

She jumped and looked for my voice. "MARK!" She wrapped her arms around me.

"What just happened," I asked Jenny.

"Her memory came back but there is a chance it's not all the way, the last thing she will probably remember is being with Kenny."

"What do you mean?" She asked letting me go.

"Amy, you have been in a coma for over a month, yesterday you woke up but the only thing you remember was me. You didn't even know your own name but as the day went on you started to remember things."

"I remember everything but that, the last thing I remember was Kenny dragging me up into his room by my hair. He was getting mad because I didn't obey him, so he tied me down and started to carving me, and there was a knock at the door, the person didn't answer. Someone told him that I was going to run so he when he went to get the door he knocked me out then I felt him untied me, I heard voices but I wasn't able to tell whose they where."

"They where mine and Tyler's, we didn't want him taking you again so we knocked to throw him off, when he opened the door I decked him. When I saw you on the floor I called for a medic and have stayed with you since."

"You never left the room?"

"Nope, I am not leaving your side."

"OH, MY GOD! SEAN!"

"He is okay, he called for help and they got to him just in time. He has been helping us find you. I will call him later and let him know you are up and that you asked for him."

"I want to talk to him."

"Okay."

"Thank you."   

"Okay, since everyone is okay, Amy you need your rest," Jenny said.

"I agree, Ethan and Tyler will be here later we can all talk then. Let's get some sleep." I said pulling the blanket upon her.

"Lay with me." She said.

"I wish I could but because of all the wires and tubes I am not allowed."

"That sucks."

"I am right here, if anything goes wrong I will know." I climbed back into bed and Jenny turned the lights off. "Sweet dreams Amy."

"You too Mark."

When I woke up Amy was still sleeping, she looked so peaceful.
"Knock knock." I looked at the door and it was Sean.

"Hey, she is sleeping," I said.

"Looks like so was you." He walked in.

"Yeah, long night. She remembers everything, even Kenny carving into her stomach."

"Gross. I'll wait till she wakes up but I want to let you know that we have a word where Jordan is. She moved states and is starting a new ring of people."

"That's horrible! Do you know where at?"

"Yes, but we are not moving on her until Amy is 100% and totally safe. Jordan still wants Amy, she has sent people here as doctors trying to get in. I know about the lady acting like her mom."

"She is not getting Amy, I don't care if I have to die she is not going back to that hell hole."

"I know, the doctors want to move her in a couple days, maybe to a rehab center for her legs. There is a chance she may never walk again. She should have never been on them with the damage they did."

"If I have to carry her everywhere then I will."

"Even when the case is over?" Amy asked. "You will stay with me?"

"If you want me too I will be wherever you go," I said getting up, I sat next to her in her bed.

"Please, don't leave me."

"The only time I am leaving you is go get Jordan but you will have a shit ton of people watching you, and as soon as I am done with her I will be back."

"She will find me, just like she found me here."

"She can't get you here, they are trying I'm not going to lie. But Amy, I'm not going to let them get you. The list of people who can get in this room is controlled by me. If they are not on the list they are not getting in. If by some chance they get past they have a long maze to get to you with cops lining the hallways."

"Thank you. Oh, my goodness Sean I am so sorry I didn't say hi to you! How are you!" Amy asked smiling at him.

"I am okay, better now that you are alive, I am so sorry that they got you."

"Sean, please don't be so ridiculous, they wanted me and they will kill whoever they need to get me. That's why I am so scared being with you guys because I don't want you to die. But I feel so safe with you guys at the same time."

"Safe is good," I said smiling.

"Safe is good," Sean said, "Amy, they have so many people to get thru to get to you. Trust me, you will never be with those horrible people ever again."
