Chapter 26

Amy's Pov

I looked around the room and saw bars all around me, no. NO! There is no way they found me already. I got up but my legs gave out, I looked down and saw my bones sticking out.

"Oh good, your up." It was Kenny, he was opening the cage door.

"How did you find me?"

"Easy, when I want something I get it."

"Where is Mark?"

"Mark? I don't know, but I need to get you ready for your next buyer. He doesn't like that I broke your legs but once I told him you can't get away he is okay with it. he hates when his slaves fight back." 

"Stay away from me!" I said trying to move away from him, I knew it was no use but  I needed to try anyway.

"Keep doing that and I will break your arms next." 

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" I screamed.

I felt two arms wrap around me, they held me tight.

"Shhhh. Everything is okay." 

Mark? I looked around but I didn't him.

"I got you, no one is going to hurt you again." It was Mark.

"MARK!" I screamed out.

I gasped for air when I was able to breathe again I looked around and saw I was laying on the couch with Mark, he was playing with my hair. 

"What the?" I panicked.

"You were having a bad dream, everything is okay." He said. I jumped into his arms crying.

"He broke my legs, I saw my bones," I said.

"He will never do that to you, he is never going to see the light of day." He started to rub my back. 

"You leave today," I said crying harder.

"I know, Tyler and Ethan will be here soon to get you. I will be going with you to Tyler's place then Sean will be meeting me there and we will meet Ms. Thomas at the station."

"I want you to stay but I know you need to go."

"As soon as I find a pay phone I will call you." He kissed the top of my head.

"Why do you always kiss the top of my head and not my lips?"

"You have had enough guys forcible kiss you, I don't want to be like one of them."

"You will never be like them, even when you were acting like one of the you where not them. You care."

"So if I did this." He lent down and kissed me, he tried to pull away but I lent into him and kept the kiss going. Once we both needed air we pulled away panting. 

"I would never mind that coming from you," I said as I laid on his chest.

"I really hope we get her fast, I don't want to be away from you."

"I agree but please be careful."

"I will do my best, with the few hours we have left what do you wanna do?"

"Can we just lay here?"

He stood up with me in his arms and took me into the bedroom, he laid me on the bed then climbed next to me. he opened his arms so I can climb on him.

"How does this work?" He asked.

"perfect," I said resting my head on him.

After a while, Tyler knocked on the bedroom door,
