Chapter 11

Those were the longest four hours of my life, we hurried and got into my car and waited for the rest of the team. Miss. Thomas saw me and walked over to the car window.

"Did you get all of those files done?"

"Yep and the ones you gave me to stall me here are all done and on your desk."

"Mark, Why are you making this so hard? You are to be looking for the rest of these bidding places. I do not approve of you going."

"I know, but I am doing what is right, Isn't that what you taught me growing up?"

"I hate when you use my words against me, fine, but don't get yourself or others hurt." She went to her car.

"You guys ready?" I asked.

"Oh, yeah." Ethan and Tyler said together.

The rest of the team pulled out and we followed, it didn't take long to get there but it felt like another lifetime. I didn't have a plan but I know that I NEED to save Amy.

We pulled into the lot waiting for the lookout to spot us, no element of surprise here. Todd came out just like we expected, he walked up to a random car and talked to the cop. When he realized who he was talking to he pulled his gun out but was shot before he could shot. Miss. Thomas stepped out of her car and gave the signal to go in.

"Be safe in there," I said to Tyler and Ethan as we get out of the car. Everyone picked different windows and door to barge into. Tyler went with me as Ethan helped to take the handcuffed ass holes to the cars.

"Two doors, which one do you wanna try?" Tyler asked.

"The one that has two locks on it." I kicked the door in and we went down the long ass hallway.

"So this looks like a trap."

"Yeah, just watch what you do." I opened the only door in that hallway.

"Please don't hurt us!" They screamed.

"Holy shit, there is like 30 people in here," Tyler said.

"Where is Amy?" I asked them.

"You mean Kitty? She is with Kenny, God bless her with what she has gone through." One of the ladies said looking down.

"Your safe now," I said as the medics came in, We left them and headed up the steps.

"Oh, Kitty I have missed you so much when you were gone. I know you love it here so much better than with the officer, don't you?" It was Kenny.

"Yes, Sir." She sounded so scared.

"If we bust in he can kill her," Tyler said.

"I have an idea." I walked up to the door and knocked on it.

"What the hell? I told you guys it is mine and Kitties alone time!"

I knocked again.

"Fine, let me make sure she doesn't run away."

It took him a few minutes for him to get to the door, once he opened it I punched him in the face sending him to the ground.

"Do you know how long I have been wanting to do that to you?" I said staring him down.

Kenny tried to kick me but I grabbed his leg and flipped him over then Tyler cuffed him.

"I don't want to know why there are bars on the ground for me to do this and I don't want to know." he cuffed him to the bar.

I looked around for Amy but I couldn't find her, I walked around the bed and I saw her laying on the floor with a pool of blood around her.

"CALL THE MEDIC!" I screamed, I rolled her over a little and saw the hole in her head. I grabbed what I hope is a clean towel and wrapped it around the bleeding hole.
