Chaeyoung's POV
I looked around and I saw taeyong walking towards his locker, and the bad thing is, his locker is next to mine. I looked down and he opened his locker
"Uh, hey." He said, looking down a bit and I looked at him. "Hello." I stuttered and I quickly walked-ran away to hide my blushing face
"Chaeyoung!" I heard his voice and I turned to face him. "Um, yo-you forgot this." He lifted up my notebook and I walked towards him and he handed it to me. I grabbed it and nodded a bit
"Next time, don't be forgetful." He smiled and I nodded a bit and looked down to hide my flustered face. I nodded a bit and walked away
I walked inside the classroom and sat on my chair. A boy sat on a chair beside me and looked at me, smiling and I just smiled a bit
"You're so pretty. Say, what's your name?" He asked and I stuttered, "Chaeyoung." "Chaeyoung... what a beautiful name. Can I have your number?" He asked and I looked down a bit
"Um-" "No. She can't." I heard jennie unnie's voice. "Sorry. But she's already taken." Jennie unnie smiled and the guy scoffed and walked away
"You seriously need to know how to say no, chaeyoung." Jennie sat on a chair beside me and I just looked down a bit
"Aigoo. So when are you going to confess your feelings to taeyong?" She asked and I looked at her, my eyes widen and she chuckled, probably because of my expression
"You're gonna confess to him today, or I'll make a plan." She said and I shook my head. "Unnie. Don't be this mean to me, please?" I pleaded
"You're cute, chaeyoung. But I like you two as couples, so I'll have to ignore your cuteness." She said and I pouted and she pinched my cheeks
"Cute." She said and I frowned

Chaeyoung's POV
"Goodluck." Taeyong said when I was gonna go inside the room to take my last exam and I could feel my heart beating so fast, and I can imagine how I must be blushing red right now
"Thank you." I said, keeping head low and I lifted it up a bit. His face didn't change, he was still so good-looking as we were kids. He used to be my protector, my protection, he was my crush and still is
Taeyong's POV
I grabbed my bag and the door suddenly opened and it revealed park chaeyoung, my crush since I was a kid. She really stand out and I guess there are many guys that like her and it's going to be impossible for her to like me back
She walked towards her bag, her head low and awkward silence fills the room and I could only steal glances from her and I don't even know if she really knows me anymore
I had to transfer years ago, and I remember how she cried and ran after me. It really hurt to see her crying, how tears fall down her cheeks, it hurts me
"Chaeyoung." I called out she looked at me. I walked towards her and pulled her into a hug. "W-what is it?" She stuttered and I buried my face on the crook of her neck
"I missed you." I mumbled
I felt her hand on my back and she responded to the hug, patting my back a bit and a smile crept on my lips and I pulled away. "You still smell like a baby." I teased and she smacked my shoulder a bit and pouted
I heard the door slammed closed and got locked. We got alarmed and she ran towards the door and I did too. "Hello! Is there anybody outside?! We're locked in here!" I shouted
"Confess to each other first or I won't let the two of you out!" I heard jennie's voice and me and chaeyoung exchanged looks and I exhaled deeply and I turned my back at her and I could feel my heart beating rapidly
"Chaeyoung− um..." I stuttered and she looked at me. "Taeyong− um..." She stuttered. I scratched my nape and I walked a bit closer to her
"Chaeyoung. Park Chaeyoung." I said and she lifted her head up. I smiled a bit. "I− I like you, chaeyoung− since we were kids." I said and I covered my mouth with my mouth and I closed my eyes and opened them and looked at her
"It's okay. I don't need a reply for now−" She cut me off by saying, "I− I like you too, taeyong." She stuttered and my eyes widen a bit and I uncovered my mouth
"Really?" I asked and she nodded a bit
The door suddenly swung open and it revealed jennie and lucas. "Done! Our job here is done!" Lucas shouted and jennie rolled her eyes at lucas. "I can't believe I'm hanging out with this guy." She mumbled and lucas stopped from dancing and he pinched jennie's cheeks
"Yah!" Jennie shouted and lucas ran and they both ran away from us and I heard chaeyoung laughed and I chuckled a bit
"What?" She stopped herself from laughing. "Your voice sounds like a chipmunk's voice, still." I said and she pouted and i laughed at her
"I can't believe I liked you." She said and I hold her hand and I could feel blood rushing up to my cheeks and I smiled a bit
"I'll walk you home." I said and she nodded a bit and I saw how her cheeks turned pink and I smiled a bit from the thought that I could make her blush
"Let's go." I said and she nodded with a smile. "So does this mean you're my girlfriend?" I asked and she looked up a bit. "You haven't asked me." She said and I smiled a bit
"Well, can you be my girlfriend?" I asked and she shook her head and I frowned. "Joke. I will. I like you. So why would I ever say no?" She said and I smiled
"I like you, too. I lo− love you." I said and she smiled. "I love you, too, taeyong." She said and I smiled
"Let's go." I said and she nodded and I walked her home for the first time, as my girlfriend. She was my best friend back then, and now my girlfriend. I hope in the future, we could walk home as husband&wife
