curling up on the bed, a tear left his eyes, followed by another and another, until they kept falling. it was needless to say that he misses her, he regretted letting go of her. if he had just be brave and man up, grab her and kiss her lips.. but he couldn't. he was afraid she would reject him.

because she, she had fallen out of love for him.

he stood up, walking towards the bathroom sink to wash his tears stained face. as he looked into the mirror, he looked a mess. haven't shaved for a month, eyes puffed from crying. he was a mess without her, a complete mess.

even if he tries not to remember her, the more he does miss her. her touches, soft kisses against his lips, it was torture. he misses her so much, he's going crazy. the pain is too unbearable that his own eyes shed tears by its own. nothing more worse could happen apart from losing the woman he loves.

"i miss you, chaeyoung." as if his lips were saying those words on its own, he slapped his lips, punching the dry wall. even feeling pain, it couldn't compare to how much pain he's feeling inside, when she left him. the day she left him was the his life was wrecked. as if not having a reason to go, he just stays there, in there house - was their house.

to wait; for a knock on the door, for a call on the telephone, for a text. anything. he just wants his wife back.

phone ringing, he ran towards his room, grabbing his phone. "hello, chaeyoung?" not even reading the caller, he picks his phone up quickly, anticipating it was her, the love of his life. "sir, i just want to tell you that the divorce papers will be sent to your house in about 2 weeks. so if you ever want to cancel it, just come to the office." ending the call, he puts down the phone back to the table.

gripping on the hard wood, he shouted on top of his lungs. "why did we have to come to this chaeyoung? i miss you so much, i'm going crazy." he sat down the floor, leaning against the bed. "please come back home, i need you." another tear leaving his eye, he closed them, remember her.

"sungjae, here." everytime he gets sick, she would worry so much, not letting him get off the bed until he better. taking in the last spoon of the porridge, he smiled. "my wife's the best cook." blushing, she looked away. "you're only saying that," her cheeks turned to a light shade of red and he smirked, loving how his wife blushes whenever he teases her.

"yeah, it tastes horrible." he teased and she pouted and glared at him. it was a different reaction when he teases her. gulping, he lifted his head a bit. "umm.. chaeyoung, i'm sick, remember?" he said and she smirked, going on top of him, straddling on his hips and smirked, again, in victory seeing how his husband covers his face, afraid she'll hit him.

"you're so good at teasing me, yet when i attack, you become so vulnerable. i find it so cute, hubby." he blushes. now it's his turn to be teased by her. but then, he smirked. uncovering his face, he kept that smirk on his lips. confused, chaeyoung asked, "what are smirking at, idiot?" nervous, she back away and he pulled her by the waist, her lips meeting his.

her responding, he smirks against her lips.

punching the hard wood, he pulled his hair, tears pouring down his cheeks as he remembers those tears on her cheeks. he already knew it was coming, yet he pretended to be blind and pretend she was all right, when she isn't. if only, he fixed it sooner, it wouldn't have come to this. he wouldn't have lose her.

"chaeyoung, my love, i miss you so much." but now, he stops.

taking a quick shower, he shaved his facial hair. finding something presentable to wear, he let out a shaky breath. "i'll get you back, my love."

parking the car, he finally arrived. and from afar, he sees his wife. just beautiful. no words can describe how beautiful his wife is. an art, a masterpiece; it needed something more.

gulping hard, he stepped out of the car. even though his hands were shaking, he didn't care anymore. knocking on the gate, it opened, and there stood nobody else but her, yook chaeyoung. "chaeyoung, i missed you." completely forgetting they're going to divorce, he pulled her into his embrace, missing his wife's vanilla scent.

"sungjae, let go." he let go of her, and put his hands on both her shoulders, "i won't let you again, chaeyoung. even if i need to force you to come back with me.. home, i will." he warned and was confused when a smile crept on her lips. "you idiot, what took you so long?" she asked before falling into his embrace, snuggling into his chest. "i missed you, too."

well that escalated quickly. he thought to himself. shrugging it off, he smiled. "so does that mean you're coming back to me?" he asked as they pulled away. "let me think about it.." she says and he lets go of her. she smiled, "yes." sungjae laughed a but. "you think so quickly, huh?" he says and she smiled. "of course, we don't have all time you."

and after everything, she went back to him.

"and even after everything, i will always go back to you."
