"you can't leave. at least not tonight." and with what the younger girl had said, jisoo only looked down as she nodded her head. everything is a mess for her. this must be her karma for everything she did.

and when she about to leave, the brunette grabbed her by the arm. "i said don't go. okay? stay here for the night. you can think about leaving tomorrow, just not tonight." and again, she only nodded in response.

rising up from her bed, chaeyoung made her way towards the bathroom to get the medication kit. after getting the ointment, including a drenched clothe, cotton buds and dressing, she walked back to her room, finding the girl looking at some of her picture frames on top of the drawers.

deciding not to talk, chaeyoung just grabbed the girl by the hand, making her face her. bringing the clothe to the girl's cheek, where the fresh wound is, she starts to dab it on the wound, soaking the blood before grabbing an alcohol and dab it on the wound, the girl whimpering a bit from the stinging pain of it.

after sanitizing it, she twisted the ointment's lid open, sanitizing her own hand before putting some of the ointment on her fore finger and brought it to the raven haired girl's cheek, dabbing it on the wound. pain was visible on the girl's expression, so she went gentler, not wanting to bring more pain to the girl.

"thank you." the girl hugged her, her eyes widening at the gesture. then noticing the girl's discomfort, jisoo pulled away, smiling a bit at the girl and chaeyoung could only look down, blood rushing to her cheeks from the contact not so long ago.

. . .

eyes squinting from the light that's hitting her eyelids, chaeyoung opened her eyes. sitting up, she rubbed her eyes before her eyes roamed her room. and when she saw the sleeping figure beside her, that answered her question: everything that happened last night wasn't a dream.

"jisoo. . ." she shakes the girl a bit, jisoo's opening quickly and chaeyoung felt how the girl flinched and even saw the fear in hear eyes when their eyes met.

"are you okay?" she asked and the girl nodded her head, smiling a bit as she practically jumped out of bed and even fell on her bottom. "jisoo! are you okay?" the brunette quickly walks towards her, holding her by the arm and the raven haired girl just nodded.

pulling the girl gently, they sat on the edge of the brunette's bed. "what's wrong? what happened?" the girl asked her and she just shakes her head, smiling. "i'm okay. i just had a bad dream, that's all." and by bad, she meant one of the worst of the dreams she's had the past few months.

"no one is gonna harm you here, okay? calm down," the girl rubbed her arm then pulled her into a hug, "come here," when she started to tear up. feeling chaeyoung's warmth, she engulfed into her embrace, face resting on the crook of the younger girl's neck.

she just wants this nightmare to end, but with that person still roaming the world, she's not getting peace anytime soon. and she's scared of the things that person is capable of.

if he told chaeyoung, she would practically put the girl's life in danger. and she'd already ruined the girl's whole highschool, she's not gonna mess everything else for the brunette.

"chaeyoung, i need to leave town now. please?" and the girl looked down before lifting her head up, their eyes meeting as the younger girl nodded her head in response.

. . .

"here's an old phone of mine. sorry for that. my contact is in there, so if there's anything you need. absolutely anything, call me. okay?" and the older girl nodded her head, taking the phone from the girl's hand. "thank you." was what jisoo could only say.

"are you sure you want to go?" chaeyoung asked and the raven haired girl nodded, smiling a bit before they pulled each other in a hug.

jisoo had her eyes closed, tightening her hold, but not too much. then she smiled, "thank you for everything. i'll be forever grateful to you for doing this." and when they pulled away, jisoo smiled at the girl.

"thank you." was all she said before she left.

and chaeyoung was worried about the girl's safety, but she also wondered why. she shouldn't feel at all worried or responsible for the girl. but deep inside, she does feel it.

. . .

night has come, and she's now in her room doing her night routine. though because of everything that's been going on, she messed it up a bit. but she tries not to get anything that's been happening change anything for her.

sighing, she puts back her brush on her dresser before walking towards her bed. grabbing her phone, she placed herself on her bed, tucking herself in the sheets.

checking the phone, she checks if there are messages or any updates from the older girl. but there was none. so sighing, she puts the phone back on top of drawers beside the alarm clock before turning to the side and closed her eyes. then turning to the side again, she glanced at her phone again, but she just ended up turning to the side again, telling herself not to worry about the girl too much, that the girl would be fine.

hearing something ringing, she woke up from her slumber and she quickly grabbed her phone, answering it before even checking the ID number. "hello?" and she heard sobbing from the other end.

"chaeyoung, help me." it was jisoo.

"jisoo, where are you?" chaeyoung asked, quickly grabbing her laptop and went to google. "tell me where you are." she repeated, waiting for the girl's response.

"i'm in a motel. i don't know exactly where. he grabbed me while i was on my way to the train station and i- please, i need your help. just for one last time, help me. i need you." and chaeyoung didn't even care if she was still in her pajamas and quickly grabbed her car keys and ran down to her car.

"wait for me." she told the girl before hanging up and started the car.

she got to 2 other motels, the girl was in the third one she got too. and finding out what happened to her, she couldn't say anything. she couldn't think of any comforting words to the girl to stop her from crying. and when she held her hand, how the girl was shaking, she felt even worse.

"s-should i take you home?" chaeyoung asked, her hand still in the older girl's hand.

"i have no home. i've lost that place a long time ago." and chaeyoung shakes her head. "i meant my house. and if you're okay with it, we can make it your new home." and the raven heard girl only responded with silence.

after just a few minutes, the girl stopped from crying and sat up, the blanket still covering her body. "can you grab my clothes?" and her heart started to beat fast, and she gulped when she grabbed the girl's clothes and some clothe of it were torn, like someone purposely tried to remove it. and when she handed it to the girl, she couldn't stop herself. "jisoo, what happened?" she asked then girl but jisoo only shakes her head.

"please, don't ask any questions. i don't wanna keep reminded about it." and chaeyoung only nodded as she looked down to her feet. whoever did this to the older girl, she wanted him or her to pay. and by mean pay, it's six feet down below the ground.

and with that, they went back to chaeyoung's house without words being spoken. only silence, and chaeyoung wanted to break that. but she had no words. only questions. so instead of asking questions, she remained silence since it's the best comfort she can give the raven haired girl.
