"Wtf happened to you????" I screamed.

"Rowe came to my job and hit me in my face because he wanted me to stay away from you.. he called me a Fag in front of all the customers" Teddy said.

His nose and lip was busted. Blood was all over his face.

"Cmon here" I grabbed his hand and went to the bathroom to get my first aid kit.

"Stay I'm so sorry. I'm ruining your night" He said crying.

"Don't worry about my night. Ima be here with you. I will have to text him and cancel. Your my bestfriend I'll never leave your side." I said to Teddy applying ointment on his face and bandages.

How dare that bastard put his hands on Teddy. He did nothing to him.

*knock knock*

"It must be him" Teddy said looking sad.

I knew deep down teddy felt terrible for me not going on the date but idc because I'm going to be there for him.

I open the door and it was Darnell.

"Wow." He said as his eyes were brightened.

"Thank you." I said smiling.

"You ready?" He asked.

"Um well about that.... um come in." I said.

"Okay" He said walking on into my condo.

"Well my friend Teddy was just in an incident and I won't be able to go on the date." I said.

He looked at teddy.
"Man I'm sorry about the incident, are you okay?" He asked teddy.

"I'm alright. Look I really want you guys to go on the date. I will be fine." Teddy said.

"No it is alright." Darnell said.

"Yea teddy I couldn't leave you here alone." I said.

"Well how about I rest in your guest room Stay so you and Darnell can have alone time." Teddy said.

"Well..." Darnell said.

"That's a good idea" I said.

"Okay we can do that then" Darnell said smiling at me.

Darnell shook Teddy's hand.

"Nice to meet you man and I hope you get better." Darnell said.

"Thanks man." Teddy said.

So happy that Darnell is not one of those homophobic type of guys.

I walked teddy to the guest room and made sure he had everything he needed.

He'd be safe sleeping here, especially since I threaten to get an restraining order on Rowe.

"Love you teddy." I said to him.

"Love you too Stay, enjoy yourself ." He said

"Okay Thanks" I said about to walk out the guest room.

"Oh and stay...?" He said

"Yes?" I turned around.

"Use condoms" He said laughing.

I blurted our laughing.

I needed that laugh. Teddy is a trip, he still manage to laugh even when he's at his worst.

I walked in the living room where Darnell was.

"Would you like some wine?" I asked.

"Yes beautiful" He said.
I smiled and fixed us a glass of wine with a small platter of grapes and cheese.

"Fancy" He said laughing.

"Whatever" I laughed.

"Thank you" I said sipping my wine.

We started talking and getting to know each other more.

"So do you have kids?" I asked.

"Yea, I had one" he said

"What do you mean had if you don't mind me asking." I asked.

"It died." He said.

"OMG, I am so sorry" I said.

"It's alright" He said.

You didn't know the gender?" I asked.

"No, me and my ex didn't want to know until she delivered." He said.

"Damn" I said.

"She dranked and smoked while carrying my child. Her bullshit lead my baby to die" He said.

I sat there listening to him and tears rolling down my cheeks.

I could see his eyes getting watery as he continue to tell me about the situation.

"I don't think l can ever forgive her.." he said.

"You have to. God forgives us all the time so forgive her." I said.

"You're right" He said.

I smiled.

"Your a really good woman." He said.

"Thank you" I said.

He looked into my eyes for about 10secs and moved in closer on me and kissed my lips.

I liked it.

He kissed me again and it was a wet juicy one.

He looked in my eyes again and started rubbing my hips and kissing my neck.

"Let's go" I said pointing to my bedroom door.
