JAIME LAID SILENTLY ON THE FLOOR, EYES OPENED, HANDS SHACKLED. FOOTSTEPS APPROACHED AND THE DOOR RATTLED OPENED. GREYWORM ENTERED, FLANKED BY TWO UNSULLIED.
Jaime walked with his hands chained. Greyworm led him to the Dragon Pit, with four unsullied marching behind them.
Greyworm and Jaime reached the entrance to the Dragon pit. They passed the Unsullied footmen who stood at attention. The large awning tent stood in the centre of the put with many people seated underneath. Greyworm and Jaime approached the central dias. Seated there in groups lining the sides of the tent was Samwell Tarly, a Riverlands Lord, Edmure Tully, Arya, Bran, Sansa, Brienne, Podrick, Tyrion, Davos, Gendry, a Vale lord, an Ironborn Lord, Yara Greyjoy, a Dornish Prince, Robin Arryn and Yohn Royce. Jaime glowered at them, met their eyes, and looked down in sadness. Greyworm stood with a disciplined posture at his side.
"Where's Jon?" Sansa asked, looking around.
"He is our prisoner." Greyworm told her.
"So is Ser Jaime." She gave Jaime a small smile. "They were both to be brought to this gathering."
"We will decide what we do with our prisoners. This is our city now." Greyworm snapped at Sansa.
"If you look outside the walls of your city, you'll find thousands of Northmen who will explain to you why harming Jon Snow is not in your interest." Sansa looked out beyond the Dragon Pit and then back to Greyworm.
Greyworm scoffed. "And you will find thousands of Unsullied who believe that is."
"Some of you may be quick to forgive." Yara Greyjoy spoke up. "The Ironborn are not. I swore to follow Daenerys Targaryen,"
"You swore to follow a tyrant." Sansa reminded her.
"She freed us from a tyrant." Yara glared over at her. "Cersei is gone because of her, and Jon Snow put a knife in her heart. Let the Unsullied give him what he deserves."
"Jon killed Lyanna." Arya told her. "He will answer to the North for his crime."
"Friends, please." Davos stood up. "We've been cutting each other's throats long enough. Torgo Nudho. Am I saying that properly?" He turned his attention to Greyworm, but he didn't respond. "If it weren't for you and your men, we would've lost the war with the dead. This country owes you a debt it can never repay, but let us try. There is land in the Reach. Good land. The people that used to live there are gone. Make it your own. Start your own house with the Unsullied as your bannermen. We've had enough war. Thousands of you, thousands of them. You know how it ends. We need to find a better way."
"We do not need payment." Greyworm shook his head. "We need justice. Jon Snow can not go free." Davos sat back down.
"It's not for you to decide." Tyrion was the next person to speak.
