THE WAR ROOM IN WINTERFELL CONTAINED A MAP OF WESTEROS WITH STONE PIECES REPRESENTING THE FORCES AT WINTERFELL AND KING'S LANDING. THE WAR COUNCIL CONSISTED OF MISSANDEI, DAENERYS, VARYS, GREYWORM, TYRION, JON, ARYA, SANSA, BRAN, MAESTER WOLKAN, DAVOS, QHONO, SAM, AND LYANNA.

Greyworm picked up a handful of Winterfell markers. "Half are gone."

"The Northmen as well." Lyanna slid off some other markers. Maester Wolkan slid away some more.

"And the Golden Company has arrived in King's Landing, courtesy of the Greyjoy fleet." Varys said as he placed additional markers on King's Landing.

"When the people find out what we have done for them, that we savedthem --"

"Cersei will make sure they don't believe it." Daenerys interrupted Missandei. "We will hit her hard. We will rip her out root and stem."

"The objective here is to remove Cersei without destroying King's Landing." Tyrion reminded the Dragon Queen as anger began to build up.

"Thankfully, she's losing allies by the day." Varys looked at the map. "Yara Greyjoy has retaken the Iron Islands in her queen's name. The new Prince of Done pledges his support."

"No matter how many lords turn against her, as long as she sits on the Iron Throne, she can call herself Queen of the Seven Kingdoms." Daenerys looked around at everyone. "We need the capital."

"I watched the people of King's Landing rebel against their king when they were hungry." Tyrion told them, looking around at everyone. "And that was before winter began. Give them the opportunit,  and they will cast Cersei aside."

"We'll surround the city." Jon spoke up. "If the Iron Fleet tries to ferry in more food, the dragons will destroy them. If the Lannisters and the Golden Company attack, we'll defeat them in the field."

"Once the people see that Cersei is our only enemy, her reign is over." Tyrion nodded his head.

Daenerys paused and thought before responding. "All right."

"The men we have left are exhausted." Lyanna pointed out, looking down at the map, thinking of those who fought the dead. "Many of them are wounded. They'll fight better if they have time to rest and recuperate."

"How long do you suggest?" Daenerys glared at Lyanan.

"I can't say for certain." Lyanna shrugged her shoulders. "Not without talking to the officers."

"I camenorthh to fight alongside you at great cost to my armies and myself." Daenerys raised her voice. "Now that the time has come to reciprocate, you want to postpone."

"It's not just our people." Lyanna raised her hands in defence. "It's yours. You want to throw them into a war they're not ready to fight?"

"The longer I leave my enemies alone, the stronger they become." Daenerys huffed.
