ARRIVING AT THE STORMLANDS, LYANNA NOTICED ALL OF THE BARATHEON SIGILS. THEY WEREN’T LIKE THE ONES SHE ONCE SAW IN KING’S LANDING, THEY WERE DIFFERENT. SHE SMILED TO HERSELF KNOWING RENLY DESIGNED IT.

There were two guards at the entrance of Renly’s camp, but Lyanna rode past them, with Shadow following her. At the speed the horse was galloping, and the fact she had her cloak covering her head and face, she was unrecognisable.

The loud crowd that Lyanna had crashed fell silent the moment her horse and Shadow stopped. She lifted her head a little to see Renly sitting on a throne, with an empty throne beside him. There was a tall blonde woman standing guard behind him.

“King Renly, this trespasser rode past us.” One of the guards grunted towards Renly as he finally caught up with Lyanna. “We will escort them to a cell.”

“No need.” Renly stood up and smiled over at Lyanna. She put her hood down, jumping off her horse. She then proceeded to walk towards the stage where Renly stood. Shadow copied every move Lyanna made. “My friends, may I present my wife, Lady Lyanna Baratheon.” Lyanna looked around to see all of Renly’s bannermen kneeling. All of the women bowed their heads at her.

“Your Grace.” Lyanna bowed her head at her husband. Renly walked over to her, resting his hand on her cheek. “It’s good to see you, Ren.”

“You too, my love.” He gave her a small smile as a young woman came up behind him. He turned around to her and then back to Lyanna. “This is Margaery of House Tyrell.” Lyanna gave a quick glance over to Loras as he walked closer to them.

“I am at your service, my Lady.” She bowed her head at Lyanna. “King Renly has spoken the kindest words of his beautiful wife.” She pulled Lyanna in for a hug. “I am so sorry for your loss.”

“You are most kind, Lady Margaery.” Lyanna nodded her head to her, then gave Renly a small smile.

“My love,” Renly took a gentle hold of Lyanna’s hand. “I swear to you I will see the Lannisters answer for your father’s murder.” He nodded his head. “When we take King’s Landing, I will bring you Joffrey’s head.”

All of Renly’s bannermen started to cheer. “It will be enough to know that justice was done.” She looked around at the crowd. “I’m here on behalf of my brother, Robb, King in the North.”

“Has he marched against Tywin Lannister yet?” Loras asked, holding a tight grip of his sword in its holster.

“I am not here to share his strategies with you, Ser Loras.” Lyanna frowned at him.

“If Robb Stark wants a pact with us, he should come himself.” Loras argued. “Not hide behind his sister, who is most likely twice the soldier he is.”

“My brother is fighting a war, not playing at one.” Lyanna was standing so close to Loras that Shadow came forward and started growling at him. Bannermen began to chuckle as Lyanna turned back to Renly, who was smirking.
