JAIME STOOD WATCHING TWO BOLTON MEN PACKING THE REST OF THEIR BELONGINGS, READY TO FINISH THEIR JOURNEY TO KING’S LANDING. FOUR MEN CAME RIDING DOWN TO THEM, AND BY THEIR SIGIL, JAIME NOTICED THEY WERE FREY MEN.“Hear the good news!” One of them shouted. “Robb Stark is dead!” At the mention of Robb, Jaime looked up to them. “And so is his bastard sister! The treasonous cunt!” The Bolton men with Jaime all began laughing.
Jaime’s body went numb. Lyanna. His sweet Lyanna, dead. “Murdered at a wedding? Where’s the class in that?” Jaime asked, shouting up at them.
“Easy, Kingslayer.” One of the Bolto men grabbed Jaime by the collar. “Let’s get you back to your sister.”
“A little change in plans.” Jaime hissed at him. “We ride to the Twins, then onto King’s Landing.”
“Oi, you’re not in a place to give orders, Kingslayer.” Another Bolton man drew his sword at Jaime.
“If you go to the Twins, I will assure you there will be gold waiting for you once we hit King’s Landing.” Jaime boasted to him.
He turned back and his fellow Bolton man and they both agreed. “Lead the way, Kingslayer.”
“Qyburn!” Jaime called out to him as he jumped onto his horse.
When they rode into the Twins, there was no one around. Just dead bodies. Dead Stark men. And they had already begun to rot. Riding around the grounds, Jaime heard whimpering coming from inside the castle. Jaime jumped off his horse and entered the castle, followed by Qyburn.
The first thing he saw was Shadow. She was lying across a body. Lyanna’s body. She was whimpering, watching over her owner. She cocked her head when Jaime walked closer.
“Easy, girl.” Jaime cooed her as she growled. He placed his hand in front of her, like Lyanna had always done. This time instead of growling, she licked his hand. Shadow got off Lyanna, and stood beside Jaime. “Lyanna..” He whispered, looking at her dead body. He pulled what remained of the arrows out of her chest. He put his sub behind her back, using his good hand to lift the rest of her body up into his arms. “Qyburn?” He turned to him, with Shadow by his side. “Is there anything you can do?”
“If I have the right medicines, and if the God of Light is good to me, perhaps.” The old frail man looked between Jaime and Lyanna in his arms.
“Then we need to go.” Jaime walked past Qyburn, heading for the door. “Now!”
“What the fuck are you doing, Kingslayer?” One of the Bolton men asked Jaime when he walked out with Lyanna in his arms.
“Do you want gold or not?” Jaime asked him as he placed Lyanna on his horse. The man nodded. “Then, let’s get going.”
When Jaime got onto his horse, he held onto Lyanna, covering her with a cloak so no one would notice her. He looked down to see Shadow running beside him.
They finally made it to King’s Landing as night was falling. Not one guard noticed Jaime. But why would they? He had been a prisoner of Robb’s for over a year. He was a different person now.
“Guards!” He called out as they walked the halls of the castle. “Bring her to a bed chamber.” He slowly placed Lyanna in their arms and turned to Qyburn. “Please. I beg you. Help her.” Qyburn nodded and followed the men that had Lyanna. He looked down to see Shadow beside him. “Let’s get you some food.”

Over at Castle Black, Jon Snow was in his bedchamber with Sam, after being told the news about what happened at the Twins.
“I was always jealous of Robb.” He spoke, looking down at the scroll. “The way my father looked at him, the way Catelyn loved him. He was always better than me with everything. Especially the girls.”
“I was jealous of you.” Sam said as Jon looked at him. “You’re better than me at everything, except reading.”
Jon let out a little laugh. “But Lyanna. The last time I saw her, she was in the courtyard at Winterfell. She said; ‘Next time I see you, you’ll be all in black’.” Jon smiles, remembering that day. “She was my twin sister. My best friend. I loved her more than anything in the world.”
Knowing that Robb and Lyanna were now at peace with one another was the only thing keeping Jon going. The two of them were never apart growing up.

Jaime stood at the bottom of Lyanna’s bed, listening to Sansa talk to her. It had been days, and whatever Qyburn did, didn’t work. Although there were some hard feelings between Sansa and Lyanna, Sansa was talking about when she was little, and Lyanna would pretend to be a knight. Jaime smiled at the thought of that. She had been one of the finest knights Jaime had ever come across.
Tyrion had walked into the chamber, looking at Sansa, who was now his wife. “My Lady.” He called out to her. “Go rest, I can watch over her with my brother.” Sansa didn’t say anything, only nodded. As she left, Shadow looked up but quickly went back to sleep. “Brother, you’ve been here for the last four days.” Tyrion told Jaime as he sat down where Sansa had sat. “Never leaving her side. Whatever Qyburn did, obviously didn’t work.”
“I have faith in Lyanna.” Jaime looked down at her. Her skin is as white as snow. While her breasts are covered, the rest of her chest is on show. Covered in scars, Jaime saw where the Bolton and Freys had shot her with arrows. He can also see the scar from where she was stabbed in the heart.
“Why are you so concerned about her?” Tyrion asked, looking between Jaime and Lyanna. “I must admit, I was always fond of her, but you. You haven’t even gone to Cersei yet.”
“I’ve changed.” Jaime turned to look at Tyrion. “Being away for so long, it’s changed me.”
“No, Lyanna changed you.” Tyrion raised an eyebrow at him. “Something happened between you two, didn’t it?” Jaime never answered. I just looked back to Lyanna. “Did you two-” Byt the look on Jaime’s face, Tyrion got his answer. “You did.”
Shadow quickly stood up, growling.
“Do you love her?” Tyrion asked, but their attention was brought to Lyanna in the bed.
Lyanna gasped as she sat up on the bed, panting.
