"Wait so people in this village know what Tope's family did and they did not say a word?" I asked not sure how people could be so cruel. "Yeah they did but nobody said a word cause they are very wealthy." Ire answered and then it dawned on me. "Your family knows!!" I said shocked. "Yah but it was to late I was already betrothed to his son by then." Ire said and gave me a small smile. "So that means Kayode is Tope's step brother" I said putting two and two together. "Yah but nobody knows about Kayode in this village. When he was born his Mom was already out of his Father's house and nobody knew she was pregnant" Ire said and smiled. Just on cue Kayode ran out and jumped on Ire's lap. "I'm done with cleaning my room and I am hungry" He said rubbing his stomach. Rebecca stood up and went into the kitchen, Ire followed her to assist her in the kitchen so I was left alone with Kayode.
"So how old are you?" I asked the cute boy infront of me. "I'm this many" He said and made a number 5 with his fingers. "Awnn well I am plus 10" I said and he had a shocked expression on his face. "You are ten five years old that is cool". He said with a toothy grin. I laughed at what he said. Then Rebecca and Ire came out holding trays filled another special food that I haven't seen before. "What is that I know that is not eba" I said. "Well this is called Fufu and Uha soup" Rebecca said and smiled.

The food was so delicious and Rebecca explained to us that is the native food of her own people. We spent more time with Rebecca and Kayode before we decided to go home. When I checked the time it was already 11:07pm in the night!!! "We are going to get into trouble" I told Ire. "Yah we might but at least I took you on the tour and now you see why I spend much time there" she said and that made me smile.
When we got home we opened the door laughing and was stopped short when we saw an angry Uncle Akin standing by the door holding a cain!!! Nope this is not going to repeat itself again right? Or is it??.
